RE: Video cleaning - where is it?
Hi Terry IIRC the shortcut changes occurred mainly in MEP 15 when the 'new' colour scheme and dialogs were introduced. Video Cleaning is still the same as those shown in your MEP 14 Video Cleaning pane - now under the Effects, Video Effects

RE: Video cleaning - where is it?
Hi Terry  . . . . About time Magix updated the PDF manual . . .  I have checked the manuals for MEP 15 to 17, MX and 2013 and nowhere in the manuals does it say there is a menu item, function or effects panel called video cleaning like the one

RE: Video cleaning - where is it?
Hi Terry It did exist in MEP14. It brought up a window like the Audio cleaning window, with a double click on the video track, where you could adjust brightness contrast, colour, etc., prior to these effects being accessed through the Media pool

    RE: wont burn video scenes
Hi Rolf,   When I hit problems like this I often find it helps to start afresh with an ultra simple project of a single JPG and step through it methodically. You haven't said what your experience level is and whether you've successfully

    [Closed] Menu rendering failed
I shortened my video, in hopes this would help burn it, but I'm still getting an error message. Here is the log file for anyone that understands it: -------------------------- 04/04/2013 08:59:31 PM -------------------------- 04/04/2013

    RE: File Error
Hi The iPhone video file is not a 'standard' format that MEP 14 can open - you need to convert the video in to  format that MEP14 can handle. HTH John

chiyembekezo, MEP 14 is very old now -- '...some time ago..' to say the very least! Any chance you have changed your e-mail address since you first registered it? I had a similar problem when I'd paid for a download version for a friend (my

RE: I am trying to load magix 14 pro onto my new computer but need new activation codes...
Hi It is unlikely you will get new activation codes as this version has not been supported for several years.  If your new computer running Windows 8 ? so MEP 14 is not compatible and will not run properly, you may find parts of the software

    RE: no burner detected
Hi Looks like Windows 8 may have 'lost' the drive.  Does it reappear in MEP 2013 after rebooting the computer? Can you see the drive in Windows Explorer ? Does the drive appear under DVD/CD-ROM drives in Device Manager ? Depending on how

RE: How to Sync Audio with Video for HD MTS
Hi You should not recreate the frametable with mts files  - this can create more problems then it solves on long clips IIRC MEP14 does not handle long mts files very well, however you can try turning off the Create frametable option in the

RE: How do crop a video? Thanks.
You didn't say what version of MEP you're using. For MEP 15 and later follow Carl's instructions. Before that it's a bit different. In MEP 14 for example you'd use Effects > Movement > Cam.movement > Cropping and movement and then choose

RE: Movie edit pro 15 - can't find option to rotate video 90 degrees
Not sure about MEP15, but MEP14 had the rotation stuff available on the realtime visual FX window [Shift+Y] key shortcut. In the latest versions you would select your clip on the timeline and go to 'Effects' tab >> 'Movement effects'

Gorg, I've not got MEP17 to check just how it does it (14Plus >> 2013Premium) but what you want is 'alpha' chroma key. Basics are a stack of three tracks: Background image on higher (lower number) track. Alpha mask -- governs
