    RE: Creating Slideshows
I'm looking for something to replace the capabilities of Pro Show, which specializes in the manipulation of still images for videos, the way that MEP is focused on manipulating video inputs. With Pro Show you can manipulate still shots by using only

    RE: combine clips without interruption
@Gerry-Lawson Hi What was the recording device used for the video clips? Zoom in to the end of the first clip so you can see individual frames, position the timeline cursor at the end of the first clip, move the the second clip by 2 frames to

    RE: Camera/zoom shot
I had selected "Over full duration" so my two keyframes were the same as yours, i.e., one on each end. I did notice your Camera/zoom shot dashboard was slightly different from mine -- you had a preview button/indicator at the top opposite (to the

    RE: HEVC compression artifacts
@nicolesharp100 Hi . . . . Simply loading the video into Video Pro X14 and then exporting it as HEVC with the best possible settings (for a 60 MBd video) will reproduce the compression artifacts. . . . . Why are you still exporting at 60Mb/s? As

Patch for Video Pro X 14: 20.0.3.169 Downloading it now (1 GB file). Unfortunately, most of the bugs that I have raised with Magix do not appear to have been fixed. As nice as it is to have the following bugs fixed, there are still many more. Given

    RE: Creating Slideshows
@Dino-AB The main effect you may need though is buggy at present which is the crop feature.  This only applies to the current version, MEP/MS 2022. MEP 2015 should be OK. Best to import the images at the sizes and shapes you need them externally

@CubeAce Hi, yep reducing resolution of the clip would help although i would like to be able to zoom in on individual boxes, but i shouldn't have any problem with the 1 track + a couple of masks, what if i had a timeline with a few dozen clips n

Sorry, I misunderstood; here are the respective programs' display settings: NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 BTW FYI, the transitions effects are previewed properly; so far it only seems to be the zoom effects that are not shown.

RE: How to do an overlay similar to this sample
@johnebaker Hi John. The problem for me with using the VPX or MEP size position is there is no real internal crop function with zoom facility making say a block of four images showing one video clip between them as quarter parts of the image, more

@CubeAce 👍 @browj2 That's pretty much what i've been playing with, a grid overlay, but I found the Section + Size/Position in MEP impossible to work with, but just because i had to have a go i tried in Vegas, I made it 8k so i could zoom in &

@browj2 Hi John. How is it working out as you add material? I can scroll easily enough but but playback is now having to be pre-rendered each time to check it is playing and the timing is as I want mine. I know we are taking different approaches.

How come Magix won't allow me to record video from my video camera?
