RE: What does " Video readers are being reinitialized" mean?
Whoops! Sorry, I hadn`t realised until you noted it that I had put "13" - yes it is MEP Plus 2013. This is the first time I have used the programme for 1920x1080 AVCHD files, so perhaps it hadn`t popped up before - I certainly can`t recall

RE: m2ts and mp4 Ext
Hi To expand YR's post - The mts and m2ts are MPEG Transport Stream container files, more often known as AVCHD video, which can contain mpeg2 or H.264 encoded files - they are a common file format for many HD video cameras in particular Sony

RE: MEP 15 PLUS: Mainconcept's MPEG-4 Export Options
Hi Very good advice there from John. I have played with many of those settings over dozens of tests and it is difficult in most cases to see any improvements, however if you look through a lot of those templates over many versions of MEP you get

RE: When I try to export two tracks at 1920x1080 the 1st track is black
Hi Are you on the latest update for MEP 2015? It should be the one John CB stickied at the top of the forum. It is common for Magix to tweak export preset settings in patches and the latest 14.0.0.172 is no exception. If you are already on it

RE: DBK error in BurnProject:10-movie encoding failed
Hi While you can burn AVCHD and BD to DVD disc you are limited to 20 - 30 mins of video. If you video is longer than this then you will have to burn to BD disc. More information is needed. Post the error log from the start of the burn

RE: How does Photostory decide whether to create MTS or M2TS files?
Hi There is no difference between mts and m2ts files - they are the same thing. As far as Photostory is concerned, if you are exporting to AVCHD, the program is set to export as m2ts and you cannot change this - if you do the export refuses to

How does Photostory decide whether to create MTS or M2TS files?
I've been working on creation of show on DVD in AVCHD. I noticed a bit ago that when PhotoStory did the encoding and created parent folder based on Project file name, it put the individual shows in M2TS files. When it did the encoding in put

RE: Is there a way to force the detailed Encode/Use window to appear?
I had been using a R/W disc while trying to fine tune the project. Finally got down to just a couple of shows that needed tweaked. At that point, I saved Old Project as Bad Project, ddleted the good shows from it, and focused on the problems.

Is there a way to force the detailed Encode/Use window to appear?
I'm using Photostory on a Win7 system. Several years old, slow, but still functional. I'm creating an AVCHD with several shows in it. Most of them have been fine. I've only tweaked a couple of the shows. I also know which M2TS files goes

RE: How do I set the maximum frame size & burn settings for Pro X6
Hi It is NOT possible, despite many peoples' belief otherwise, to have High Definition output from a DVD. Just to make this clear - the DVD format can only ever be Standard Definition but a DVD disc can be written with AVCHD 1920x1080

RE: MEP 'Quick function'?

RE: MEP 'Quick function'?
Hi John, Thanks for that. But my focus is really on jerkiness rather than resolution. Resolution is set here to PAL 16:9 (half) and I go full screen for more detail or precise sizing/positioning. I've never found that ½ or ¼ improve jerkiness on
