  @martin-brennan people see a min/rec spec and make purchases based on this. if it doesn't work with the machines they claim it does, then they should stop making these claims.   I feel your pain... that's why I have stopped paying the subscription

  .mov file issue
  Just downloaded Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus and all my videos made by iPhone (.mov) have just only sound. Had no this issue with earlier versions.

  Prior to the latest versions of Vegas, a QT app needed to be installed to open AAC audio files in Vegas and SF (.mov, .mp4 and m4a). I installed the Quicktime Alternative codec on all my PCs and never had issues opening or encoding.

  Thanks John. That did not work for me. On the image all MOV and MP4 do not preview in the Import window or in the Timeline and they do not display when I play my project. AVIs work so it seems like a codec issue. Not sure why 2020 worked perfectly

  @fred-k Hi Fred and Welcome to the Magix Movie Edit Pro user forum. Going from mov to MP4 is not the likely cause of additional noise but more of one of settings in the encoder on export. How are you exporting your files? What method are you using?

  video quality converting 4k 30fps .mov to 4k .mp4
  when i convert 3840x2160 29.97 fps .mov video and export 4k 30 fps .mp4 format video, the output is always substantially more noisy than the source .mov file. any recommendations for a solution

  @johnebaker Hi John. I'm not sure what you mean by a stock lens but I use the the holy trinity set of lenses 14-24mm, 24-70 mm, 70-200m, (all f2.8 constant aperture) along with a few f1.4 prime lenses. None of which are soft although the 50mm f1.4
