Hi Mark With a BD burner you will get the full BD capacity, how long a movie depends on the settings you use during the burn. John

Hi To part answer your question - yes you can burn BD on DVD however you are limited to about 20 - 40 mins depending on the settings you use. Burning is covered in the pdf manual - select Programs, Magix, Movie Edit Pro,

Excellent suggestion - I downloaded both the 2009 and 2010 burner updates and between them they fixed the problem - I can now burn my cds again. Thanks for the advice. John

It's an Acer M3970. When I put a blank cd-r in, it asks if I want to burn using EXplorer, Media Plyer, Nero, but AudioLabs 2004 can't seem to find it. Is this a problem with this old version of AudioLabs and Windows 7 or something more

video and sound are out of sync in burned disk
The sound (voices) and video are ok in the raw footage and are ok in the preview screen, but when the DVD or Bluray disk is burned, the last 20 minutes of a 55 minute video has the voice and video out of sync. Using Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus

Does anybody have experience of using the Blue-ray disc feature with Movie Edit Pro 14
I am experiencing problems after I have burnt a video to Blue-Ray disc. The disc does not replay on the PC Blue-ray Burner (LG BH10) although it plays commercial BR discs OK. The burnt disc does play on a Blue-ray Player unit (Sony S580)

I am not sure that Movie Edit Pro 15 is Windows 7 compatible. It might work, but the code used in that program was written well before Microsoft released Windows 7. Regardless, I would make sure that you have the latest driver info for both
