    RE: lost MPEG4
No real idea but I wonder whether, in renaming your file, you also managed to change the file extension to something other than .mp4, hence MEP does not "recognise" it? If so, merely change the extension back to what it should be. HTH Jeff

Hi, Further to what Terry said about using takes, since you seem to be new user, here is a little more detail on the method. The method that I indicated in my previous answer works if you want to build your videos as you review them. But if you

Hi Bill, I agree that the subject gets scant coverage in Help or the PDF manual. I see this after a search for  'takes' in either: To use takes, please read the chapter "Saving objects separately" in the PDF manual. Yet there appears to be

Hi, MEP is a non-destructive software, so it will not touch your original files. Your files must remain on your computer in the same location as when you bring your clips into MEP You can open a project in MEP called "Family and Friends",

RE: MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2013 Plus.
Hi I think I need more clarification on what you are trying to achieve ie: 1. Are you wanting to mix different aspect ratio video in the same movie ? or 2. Create a DVD or BD disc with multiple movies on it, each of which is a different

nick4, Second question? I've not got a recent Video Pro X, but in Movie Edit Pro you have three choices for renaming: 1. If VPX shows tabs for each movie in a project (just above the tracks) you can right click and get a 'Rename'

RE: Can I add a running timestamp to the time lapse movie ?
That MEP 2014 Timecode facility doesn't let me display data in my MOV (QT) files. Yet I regularly use other programs (such as Bulk Rename Utility) which use it correctly to access date and time.     Nor with my AVI (MJPEG) clips from my

TK2 instead of TAK destroys takes functions and introduces a bug.
I've been working with the takes function in MEP 2013, and an#m now tryin g to use them in 2014. The format has changed to the same format as VEP X5 and the shortcut files now have the extension TK2 rather than TAK. OK so far, but:unless I'm
