@johnebaker @browj2 Agreed Variable can be problematic but even before i got this PC, (my old one i7 7700 GTX1660 card) I've never seen a file not show at all because of variable frame rate, in fact as I've mentioned before after 20yrs of using

@me_again Hi Alwyn Using NeatBench I get Best combination: GPU only (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060): 29.1 frames/sec. However in the real world I have it set to use both CPU and GPU (RTX 2060) - it runs a little (!) quicker. Real world exports can vary

@Kevin-Tam Hi Kevin. Nice laptop whatever it is. If an nvidia 3080 coupled with an 11th gen Intel CPU can't handle it, I'm not sure what can 😂. You should be good for another couple of years upgrades yet 😉👍. Your system should be well above what is

RE: Lost transitions when Upgrading from 2019 Premium to 2025 Plus.
Hi, Everything should be there so long as you use the same account. However, you may have to download them again. They will show up under Templates and Audio as requiring a download. This usually happens if you switch from Plus to Premium or vice

RE: Video showing black in timeline and on export
@Lillian-Fidler Hi Lillian. The only thing I can think of to try is to change the middle box (processing) to CPU and see if that allows the clip to be rendered visibly. It could be something to do with the GPU not having a hardware video encoder. Of

@Krzysztof-Nowacki Hi. I'm honestly fed up with Movie Studio by Magix. Who was bothered by VEGAS? It's the nature of the beast of video editing. Within any three year period minimum spec requirements for any video editing software jumps quite a bit.

This is just an after-dinner ramble about some observations I've made since upgrading my system. As most of you know, I had an old i5 with no effective graphics card. Going from MEP 2021 to MMS 2023 didn't do anything for me, performance-wise. But
