    RE: Graphics Card
@Steve-McClelland Hi Steve. Definitely the Intel Graphics is more important to MEP than an additional graphics card. The HD630 seems to be top of the list for now but I don't know if the offering on the newer Intel chips is a possibility or not. If

    RE: Graphics Card
@Steve-McClelland For the best experience of video exporting from MEP to the ubiquitous mp4 format yes, you definitely DO need an intel CPU, at least an i5, with integrated GPU capable of at least HD 520 or, preferably, better, to work in tandem

    RE: Graphics Card
Thats great information. Thanks very much for taking the time to respond with all that information. I have been in touch with custom build pc shop to buy a new tower and they have said that they don't understand why Magix are pushing the HD630

    RE: Graphics Card
Hi all, so cant find post on here regarding matching bit rate to camera, but some one did and got me thinking. Also Ray mentioned I could up a bit. Soooo 122 Megabytes (MB)=124,928 KiloBytes (KB) 122 is my Mavic Air 2 camera, so set 124928 into MEP

    RE: Graphics Card
@Steve-McClelland Have just looked at your video. Definite improvement but the re-speeding of your clips is not doing the footage justice. You may have to buy a dedicated third party plugin to do the job better such as Pro-Dad Re-Speeder. But first

    RE: Graphics Card
@Steve-McClelland I notice your drone footage is recording at 120 Mbps and can record HEVC in D-Cinelike which could possibly be HDR. If the files recorded in HEVC are 10 bit files they would be hard to handle even on a higher specified machine. If

@Steve-McClelland Hi . . . . My i5-4670k CPU is basically the issue and also my graphics card needs upgrading . . . . I should have made this more clear: The important part is the CPU upgrade, in your case this means a new computer, you cannot

Hi Thanks for all replys-Update. I use two monitors and both are plugged into graphics card. So let me try and say what I do and what I think you guys are saying is possible. I do Drone footage with Mavic air 2 which I mainly film in 4k 60fps,

@laurent-w Hi. It's phone footage with a variable frame rate. I'm surprised you can edit it within VPX let alone export it. It will be adding and and taking away frames and trying to guess what to put where, what frames to add and remove. 14fps up

    RE: LAPTOP UP THE CREEK
One of the dilemmas is: 4k or Full HD screen? I guess you will point out to me that a 4k screen is unnecessary if I am downscaling the footage to Full HD. And no doubt that would save some serious cash. But the 4k screens are so... sumptuous and

@Matthew-Coates @CubeAce @johnebaker Hi A bit of googling brings up a DEC 2018 article that probably explains why the files don't play. There are several .mov types that use a JPEG codec - Photo JPEG and Motion JPEG B which he states Quicktime 7

@MCK A forum response: A 6-core i7 is too low to edit 4K footage UNLESS you make proxies, but then when you switch to full-res media, it’ll crawl. You’re better off investing in a desktop with all the trimmings. Ryzen or i9 with at least 64gb of

    LAPTOP UP THE CREEK
Hi all. My seven-month-old, expensive laptop is about to die, unable to cope with 4k editing, even though it should manage. Specs below. All footage is 4k, all 100 mins of it, am downscaling to Full HD and creating proxies, lots of SFX. Are these

@Philip-Mora I very seriously doubt if the issues you are seeing have anything at all to do with the app being set to expire! And to title your post as "Magix is glitching" is rather bizarre; "Magix" is the company, not the program. However, first
