RE: Sound from the Midi Controller
@Procyon- No I'm not confused. I do understand that the midi controller can not generate sound by itself which is why I use either the usb cord or the midi in-midi out cord (from the controller to the mbox). Even if I choose the synthesizer, it

RE: Sound from the Midi Controller
I'm afraid you're a little confused.  A MIDI controller does not make any sound.  It creates MIDI "events" (like note-on, note-off, velocity, etc.) and MIDI program and control changes.  Your MIDI controller is used to "control" hardware and

RE: What does error msg "microsoft sound mapper" mean"?
I am just sharing what I know, I do not use Samplitude. Ms sound mapper comes with window. The sound mapper is part of the Microsoft GS Wavetable MIDI Synth. Therefore, it seems in the settings you have selected MS sound mapper as a playback

RE: I've just discovered "Inspector" under File Manager. It looks useful but I can't see how to make use of it. I copy a sound (for example a guitar chord) and then want it to change to follow the chords in the melody line. Pitch higher/lower do not help.
If you are talking about object inspector according to the PDF help of Music Maker 16 Premium: Object inspector settings The object inspector offers quick access to properties of objects, e.g. audio effects for audio objects. For MIDI

RE: How to connect Yamaha PSR E333 with MMM16
You didn't specify HOW you intend to use/record your Yamaha keyboard. The tutorial offered below describes the method to use the keyboard as a "MIDI keyboard controller". The Yamaha PSR-E333 does have a USB port - most likely a USB type 'B'

RE: Music Maker MX - How do I change the key level of the bass and arrangement with my properly connected and working MIDI keyboard? It's C or A and it stays that way while I need to move the arrangements between the keys.
I am using M-Audio Keystudio. It works well and I can send MIDI and compose my own melodies in Music Maker. The trouble is with changing the harmony using the keyboard whith a pre-recorded soundpool files. As an example, I have another

RE: VST midi track not playing in Magix Production Studio
Hi That would suggest the other software is writing control signals for the 'midi instrument' which MMM does not understand.  This is a common problem as not all VST are 100% compatible with all software which can use VST's. JOhn

While recording live audio in MMMX 18, the results have skips and is choppy.
Some words are missing and the timing is off after each skip. I also notice the "cursor line" skips just before the audio skip on playback. No other programs are open.  I have a new Toshiba TOSHIBA Satellite C655 Model #PSC2EU-04U047 Notebook

RE: how do I use my microkorg keyboard as a synthesizer, and not just a controller in MM16?
"but there is no MIDI in or out on my computer, I just connected it using a usb cable that had MIDI in and out on one side" Right.  So, therefore you ARE running a MIDI controller set-up.  Your synth is transmitting a MIDI signal to the USB

RE: how do I use my microkorg keyboard as a synthesizer, and not just a controller in MM16?
That's because, as you stated in your original posting, you have the keyboard set up as a MIDI controller.  In this configuration, you can only use it to play other software (virtual) instruments on the computer. If you want to record the voices

RE: Difference between Catooh Instrument Packs and Magic Vita Solo Instruments
