  IF and thats a big IF...if you have all your sooundpools loaded on your PC, you can try a reset soundpool and it goes and gets all your soundpools currently on your Hardrive.  Hit "P" for program and look  thru the menus and make sure its a reset

  Terry, I've just checked with a .jpg file in 17, MX and 2013 and all behave the same. The 'Object' name can be changed in the properties window and the change is immediately reflected in the object on the timeline. The filename does not change.
