RE: best video format for loading on my page or my site
Hello, Generally, DV AVI is a good format to retain high quality. Also, AVI with certain (e.g. lossless) video codecs. However, the latter is far less compatible and useful than DV AVI. However, since you're asking the question specifically

RE: [Closed] DV AVI audio is distorted during preview and after render.
Hi, This is most likely related to a problem that has been discussed here before, but I don't seem to be able to pull up the relevant threads via the search function right now. In a nutshell: There are generally two different types of DV AVI

[Closed] DV AVI audio is distorted during preview and after render.
I have Windows XP x64 SP2 on ASUS P5E-VM DO motherboard with Intel Q6700, 6 GB RAM, RAID 0 Seagate 500 GB hard drives, Realtek HD Audio. This configuration performs well with Corel VideoStudio X2, Ulead MediaStudio 8, MAGIX Music Editor 14, etc.

RE: [Closed] magix does not "see my miniDV camcorder"
Hi, No need to worry. The program is not obsolete and it's not a technical problem per se. You just need to be aware of the fact that miniDV cameras need to be captured via the FireWire/IEEE 1394 interface - not USB. FireWire is the standard for

RE: [Closed] Why won't Magix Pro 15 Plus recognize my SONY HDR-FX1 HDV camcorder to import video via the 1394 firewire conenction?
Hi, This is what comes to mind as far as HDV capture troubleshooting goes: Make sure you're actually picking the HDV capture option in Movie Edit Pro (as opposed to the regular DV capture option) and the camera must be in play mode. On the

RE: Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus claims to work with AVCHD - Does it?
Hi Donaldo, Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus does support the import and editing of AVCHD material. This doesn't require any special option in the program to connect the camera. After all, this is not a DV or analog tape camera. When you hook up your

RE: can't export my prject
Was your problem resolved? I am having the same problem trying to export to DV. You mentioned you had Pinnacle. I had it too. I read somewhere that Pinnacle breaks the Microsoft DV codec somehow which MEP depends on.

RE: Magix movie edit pro 14 - Half my avi movies are loading on the preview screen, very laggy program, random "this program is not responding"
If the program is "slow and laggy" in preview playback, you should try a different video mode to see if one works better for you with your video card/configuration: click "File" - "Program settings". Under the "Display options" tab, under "Playback

RE: Jerky motion
