OK...let's try this again.  (The website choked on my first attempt.) I'm not even going to try to explain the text on the box.   What you're looking for are additional VST instruments to use with the Vita MIDI Editor.  You can get them (for

RE: The Magix keyboard is less loud than the qwerty keyboard
I think the harder you press the key on the MIDIstart keyboard (velocity) the louder you hear the note... Something like a real piano. The QWERTY doesn't have a velocity or pressure sensor, so it plays all the notes at the max velocity of

How can I get the keyboard provided by Magix Music Maker 17 to play the provided instruments the program offers?
I just bought Magix Music Maker 17 (not the premium version).  I'd like to be able to play some music with the intruments (piano/saxophone/etc.) that the program offers using the mouse/keypad operated keyboard that the program is equipped with.

Thank you for telling us which version of MMM and keyboard you are using!   Well, I skimmed over the Spectrum AIL-499 manual.  It's not all that helpful, and it was obviously written by someone who's first language is NOT English.   So,

Thank you both for your replies. I realize that some of this might be done via a MIDI keyboard, however, that's not what I'm trying to with this. I would like to have it setup (for example) with my regular keyboard that's set for MIDI channel 1

I don't find the software unfriendly at all. I have an old M-Audio Oxygen 8... I haven't used that in a while though, I think because they never updated the drivers for it when USB 2 hit the market. I think maybe still it’s a signal flow

Can you use .ogg files as midi files?
What I mean is, can you choose an ogg file as instrument in midi editor?   I'd like do know if MMM uses ''virtual keyboard'' functions that are on other music programs like LMMS/FL Studio, who use ''piano-roll'' for .ogg

You say MMM17Premium isn't fully a DAW but that e.g. Samplitude is.   I know the  MMM-products more than the Samplitude ones - and I really don't know what makes the Sampltude a DAW but  not MMM.   If you compare the info
