Slow Export AVI to MPEG4 with RTX 3060
This is more of an FYI, but I'd certainly be interested in other's thoughts or observations. One of my workflows for working with VHS tapes is to capture and then deinterlace them into MagicYUV AVIs at 50fps, then bring them into MMS for editing,

    RE: Export Video as AVI
@Jamil-Taylor Magix Movie Studio (and I assume VPX) does export OpenDML AVIs. Open one of your files in Mediainfo and look at the Format Profile; it is "OpenDML". I'm no expert on OpenDML (I use compressed lossless codecs for my AVI work) but this

Thanks for that. Downloaded MediaInfo but it us way beyond me - rapidly got completely out of my depth. My mkv files were generated from old camcorder PAL tapes using PotPlayer if that helps - have heard good and bad things about PotPlayer. Magix

    RE: Export Video as AVI
@Jamil-Taylor File size is only function of bitrate and time, nothing else. What I am stating is that DivX Pro at 8220kbps avg bitrate created a 9.68GB video file. Not so; your Mediainfo shows the bitrate of your DivX file as only 6251: If you did

RE: Slow Export and Lack of features
Unless you had just the "right" components, Magix was an exporting dog. On my old system, Videoredo was 10 times faster encoding than Magix. Even reviews I read said it was slow. Allegedly, the new "Infusion engine" has dramatically sped-up export

    RE: split a file
@david-sahm Or you can place the cursor where you want split the clip into two parts & choose Split Movie, that will create two Movies that you can then export separately.

    Export Video as AVI
I have a video that is 1920x1080p with a 23.976 framerate. I exported this video using File|Export movie|Video as AVI... I did not change any default settings, and I set the file name to my D: drive with an AVI extension. The AVI video used the

@Kraznet I would echo John's question about giving a more detailed explanation of the latency with the standard wave driver but I wonder whether you are referring to your comment about VSTs? In which case, I would wholeheartedly agree with the need

@RichardDP @AAProds I agree with the MXV advice but, as @AAProds impies, it can only be played in a Magix program - such as Movie Studio/ MEP and Photo Manager. From information I gleaned some time ago, MXV is a container for a "pure/raw series of

RE: No Audio in preview after one hour of clip

RE: The output formats are messed up in Movie Studio 2024
@clement5 Setting 4:3 should just compress the output horizontally while keeping the vertical at 480 to have a realistic picture. Never! should a program automatically squash a too-wide video into the selected frame size. You can use your TV remote
