  Windows 7 didn't exist when MEP14 came out. You can try it. The worst that can happen is that it will not install or it wil not work. Although if it installs and does not work, you can give the compatability mode a try.

  According to the manual MEP14 does not support AVCHD.  MEP14+ does; but import only.  Both support MP4 but the non plus version requires a paid activation. David

  OK, so this camera does record in the AVCHD (h.264) format and in Full HD. Like I said, MEP14 is most likely too old to read these files so you'll have to use a newer version, licensing issues could also play a role why it doesn't support AVCHD.

  Hi MEP14 cannot recognise mod files.  You need to convert them to mpg or something similar that MEP 14 can handle. Search Google for converters - there are many free ones - some good some indifferent but the one most people here recommend
