RE: New to Magix
Hi Jay, I'm away using my iPad right now. But I'll summarise the exact steps you need to take below. If I don't hear back from you that you've succeeded, I'll illustrate it when I get back to my PC in an hour or so. It's really very simple (once

Hi You are not the first to discover this issue with Windows 8 and new computers and older versions of software (not just Magix but others as well). As yet no definitive cure has been found, however the following may help 1. If the Windows

Rotation - highly flexible method from wabu
This follows up on a subject we first discussed a month ago in http://www.magix.info/uk/movie-edit-pro-2013-how-to-rotate-image.knowledge.891387.html There's a far better way of handling rotation which wabu has designed. He pointed me to his

RE: Audio and Video are not syncronized
You don't say which version of MEP you are using, but with 15 and 17, if you do the program updates, this issue will be fixed. This bug was fixed for MEP17 with update version 10.0.10.1. Also, when you finish editing and are ready to burn, click

RE: No sound After burning a project to DVD
I had the same problem when I used MEP17, (or 15, 12, 10, etc) In the burn menu, if you are burning a DVD for playback on a DVD player, you will need to specify DVD with AC3 under the options. That fixed my audio issues and the sound is great.

RE: Problem with Fades / Transitions not working properly MEP 2013
prizm4, Trial versions (and download purchases vs box sets) don't come with all the transitions, design elements, DVD templates etc. They can be downloaded -- see 'Help' >> 'Free downloads'. There may be some items, like say Dolby 5.1

RE: How to resize the Video... Shrink it.. Settinngs Issue.
Imeadowssc, 'Need more input!' The size of an export depends on pixel resolution but also, and much more importantly, the file format and the particular settings of that format. Using a still image as an example, a 24 bit per pixel .BMP file

RE: Video Files Being Cut off
Alright, so before I upgraded to the 2013 edition of Movie Edit Pro, I was using MEP 15. Putting both video files into the 2 software versions, 15 is reading the frame rate at a lower and more accurate rate (about 27 or so FPS). MEP 2013 is

RE: How To Make Very Fine Audio Adjustments To Sync With Video?
I'd say the problem is simply that MEP snaps objects to what it thinks is the smallest possible division -- a single video frame. That make sense for video but not for fine placement of audio. If going for more virtual frames isn't enough, what

Hi John, Must be some misunderstanding here, as I'm definitely not following you on this. MEP 16 Plus had the full 99 tracks (as did MEP 17, 15 and 14.) There were 14 zoom levels in all those versions, more than enough. And level 1 included

Hi, You haven't told us what version of MEP you're using. I'll assume it's a recent one, such as 17/MX/2013. For earlier versions such as MEP11/12/14/15 the details will vary but the principle is identical. Or for better quality:
