  Hi Jeff, thanks for your reply. Yes the software will be very old now and I am trying to install in on my laptop which has Windows 10. On the TV Media Centre there is a MPEG 2 codec activation dialogue box where you can order a new activation code.

  @DinoAB Hi . . . . “an expansion package is needed in order to use this audio feature” . . . .   The expansion package is the Dolby AC-3 Surround Sound codec which is no longer supported in older versions of Movie Edit Pro due to licensing issues -
