RE: Subtitle
Hi What you are trying to do is not too difficult if you can get your head round Keyframe animation - Alwyn has a good tutorial here http://www.aaproductions.net/mep/tips/tutes.htm you need Size and Position parts 1 and 2 (MEP15/16 techniques

RE: Xara 3D maker 7 and Movie edit pro?
Hi, How are you exporting the file. If you are using AVI, GIF, JPEG etc, it will not work. You need to be doing it this way (from the Xara manual) which is usually the first thing you should check. Exporting transparent title animations for

RE: Videos on Picture
nirvanray, This looks like a rather complex use of 'Alpha' or other channel effect ('Effeects' tab >> "video effects' >> 'Chroma key') where the image on one track determines whether you see the track above it or the track below.

RE: Editing DVD menus with alternative image editors
Hallo John and Terry I see and understand the point. This still does not solve the problem. Photo Designer is Horrible. Why Magix went to the extent of actually writing it is beyond me... Most people that do video editing are proficient in

RE: Importing 3D titles from Xara
Hi gaunt I have found exporting as a gif works well as it has a transparent background and the file size is small. Set the pixel dimensions the same as your project material say 1920x1080 and you get a pretty clean edge. AVI should work well

RE: Move text and graphic together?
Thanks John, but that doesn't work here! I add a title in track 3. I add a rectangle in track 4 and make it semi transparent. I select them both and use the Group tool. I am in Size/Position. I click over the superimposed objects and drag. Only

RE: saved titles in module but don't show at all on preview.
Difficult to offer any solid suggestions without more information, but could it be something as simple as: 1. Font set too small to notice? 2. Font somehow set to transparent? 3. Title track set to 'M'? 4. Track 1 set to S? If you place

Hi John, Thanks - good to hear we're singing from the same hymn sheet on this one! (Hmm, as a non-believer I really must try to find a different expression ) However, I still find it hard to see why there should be such a big difference as in

RE: Puzzling difference
Hi Terry At last an issue that I can reproduce perfectly !!! I think the artefacts you are seeing are because of a high compression ratio for the output of the jpg image. For video I use no compression if you are still using PSP then it is

RE: Black line when zooming on alpha image
Hi Anti-aliasing of the original text can also cause this problem with chroma key. The reason I asked about a border is because a 1 pixel wide border would only appear when the image approaches its original size as you said in the original

RE: Is P.I.P possible ?
Hi I have never had to use Chroma key for PIP. The background image/video goes in track 1 and the smaller images/video in the higher number tracks with their size and position altered to place them where I want. Anything in a higher track

alinalidina, I'd suggest at least trying the eyedropper method for comparison. The sliders that John describes are only available for the blue / green / white / black presets and can be very effective. Though the eyedropper color selection

RE: Magix MEP MX Plus - Video Counter
Yes, as john-auvil writes, time is shown on preview, but not on a rendered, exported film. If you want it shown on a film, one way is to make a screen capture of the clock running, with a black background. Then place the file under your video,

OK. Here we go! I've checked this workflow in both MEP MX Premium and VPX4 and it does work although it's very clunky!! I'm assuming your video clip is on the timeline, you've highlighted it and gone to the plug-ins menu and chosen logoaway,

RE: Can I import transparent images (.png) in Video Deluxe MX Premium?

Extreme, First just checking -- 'fades' usually refer to the entire image (video or still) gradually disappearing as the frame become blank black. As you say 'all round the sides' I presume you want what might be more properly called a
