RE: clicking sounds at regular intervals.
Hi, Sorry to hear this. Apparently an undesired side effect of the DVdate conversion process. I can't really say that I've experienced this problem before when using DVdate to convert DV AVI to type II in order to fix that audio problem.

    RE: need big help!
Hi, I'm afraid some further clarification as to details of this problem might be needed. From reading this, I'm still not completely sure what stage of the program you're actually in when this crash occurs. Are you suggesting that you only just

RE: [Closed] Magix movie editer Burning Problem?? help please
Hi there, My recommendation would be to go for the option to have the bit rate adjusted, so it will fit on one single DVD. A little background information: Basically, when you burn a video DVD, your whole material is encoded into MPEG-2 video.

RE: clicking sounds at regular intervals.
Hi, If you don't notice the audio problem (or any other problem, for that matter) on some of the files you're importing, I suppose you don't really have to convert those. Mixing the converted and unconverted files within one project shouldn't be

RE: Ii have a JVC miniDV camcorder.
Hi there, If this is a miniDV camera, you should use the iLink connection on the camera. That's basically just another name for FireWire. So, you will need a FireWire/DV cable and a FireWire controller/socket on your system. If your computer is

Oddly enough, I just answered a question a few minutes ago that apparently refers to the same problem, even though it's not the most common issue.  See

Make sure you're connecting via Firewire and using the regular DV capture dialog in the program. If you really can't get the program to connect to your DV camera in the regular (DV AVI) capture mode, try using the MPEG-2 capture mode that is also

    Recording Time Delay

RE: [Closed] Problem with transfer or import HD video (format .m2ts)
You wouldn't use the option to capture directly from a camera for AVCHD camera technology. The process of capturing is strictly for tape-based cams, both digital and old analog models. Naturally digital (DV/HDV) capturing and analog capturing work

Ok, I see. I guess I was just trying to figure out what kind of hook up you have (USB?). But you are able to capture the videos to your hard drive using another software - the one that came with the camera perhaps? If that's the case, then that's

This option is just for DV cameras with cassette tapes - if this is the kind of camera you have, then make sure to have it hooked up via Firewire cable.  If your camera saves to hard drive or mini-DVD instead, you don't need to use the program to

RE: Could not connect Sony HDR-SR10E to selected device
Hello, the HDV record feature in MEP 14 is meant for HDV cameras which record on DV-tapes and which are connected via firewire (not via USB). You have no choice but to import the .m2ts files Hope this clarifies... B.

You can only upload DV material into MAgix software via firewire. Don' quite understand the term upgrade if you don't have firewire, but, that's ok. All you need to do to get around this problem if you already have your new laptop would be to import

If Movie Maker doesn't want to properly detect and interface the camera either, the problem might be on a lower level, but you could still try the following: In Movie Edit Pro's DV capturing dialog, make sure the video preview checkbox is enabled.
