I tried that before asking the question but it did not work and I do not know why. I must be 'missing' something. Maybe those songs are tagged, Music Maker has problems with jpg's of a certain size... sometimes it also helps if you copy

Hi Gorf I stand corrected - I have never noticed this as most of my fades are fairly quick - over 12 to 25 frames for a crossfade - so the slight dimming is not noticeable as in the example you have given. Thanks for the correction
