RE: [Closed] Is Movie Edit Pro 14 PLUS compatibile with Windows 7?
MP 14 will usually work fine with Windows 7. However, some people have a problem with burning DVDs. It seems to depend on which make of PC/Burner is in use. I can burn fine on a laptop (Dell Inspiron), but have ben unable to burn using a

RE: Movie Edit Pro 14 - Which update required to enable burn?
This problem can be caused by having another program running which uses the burner. You may not think there is another program active, but there is if you have the option of write / re-write on a disc -- using the DVD burner like another hard

RE: Burning a DVD
I suggest trying to burn it on just a DVD-R not a rewritable RW. Perhaps the DVD player you have cannot read the RW, which are more suited for data than video. It might be that the video itself needs to be closed out. Unforntunately I

RE: Blu-ray format
Do you have a Blu-ray burner? Blu-ray is a different beast than DVD, it requires specialized hardware and as far as I know, the blank Blu-ray discs are already formatted.

Depends how competent you feel. Go to Windows Explorer, place the program disc in the drive and kill the autoinstaller should it kick in. If you click on the disc, you will see addon. Click on that and you will see mxcdr. That's your

Well, I am not sure about the voucher but the error could be two fold. I recommend that you start a new project, load some files, effects and transitions... basically something of everything and see if you can burn that

RE: Error message 840003f4 - image creation error
It's not a burner issue because I was able to burn another movie that I made with Movie Edit Pro. I guess it must be something wrong with the actual movie I am trying to burn. Does anyone know what I can fix in my movie to resolve the problem?

RE: I cannot burn my slide shows onto DVDs with this software. I can with other editing software.
It could be other software you have installed that does burn to DVD that also have taken control of the device driver that the MAGIX software needs to use. This was really an issue with Nero and Roxio softwares as they used a UDF driver that

If there is nothing in the field for the burner hardware listing under the first step, then in fact you are correct, and the MAGIX burn routines you have does not have communication. Some things I suggest. 1. Update the MAGIX Movie Edit Pro
