Can anyone reccomend a mini midi keyboard or how to use the computer keyboard to control synthetic instruments
As before advised I am using Windows XP Home and Samplitude 14. None of the tutorials can help me as they seem to assume that I have the means to play the instruments

mini midi keyboard recommend keyboard and or how to use computer keyboard to controlmidi
Thanks nihon Using Windows XP Home. Samplitude Music Studio 14. Alernative to a midi keyboard I noticed that in the Manual it says you can use the computer Keyboard to control the synthetics. How would I do that ?

The M-Audio Oxygen 8 is a USB/MIDI keyboard controller. As such. there are no internal voices to turn off.

Hi, If you do not use any audio interface then connect your Keyboard with the computer and open Magix Music Maker and click on computer keyboard "P" Audio/Midi Porgram settings will be opened, on the right side look for Input device

You cannot "insert" preset chords into the Vita MIDI editor. MMM is not that sophisticated. Your only options are to "play" them on the computer keyboard (or an external keyboard controller) OR "draw" them in Vita one note at a time.

Yes, apparently it does make a difference. This is just a guess, but I suspect that if you import a MIDI file using the File Manager, it is being played by your soundcards MIDI synth as opposed to any MMM synth. That may be why you do not have

Absolutely! However, since MMM is not a full DAW, it may not have all of the functionality as if used with a DAW. For instance, MMM will not respond to pitch bend or modulation wheel commands (in MIDI). I don't know if it will for other VST
