    RE: soundpool location
Hi, If you want to make doubly sure, search through your computer for ogg and wav files. Include public user and programdata folders under Magix. Sometimes they are not all in the same place, and there may be some that you didn't know you

RE: Media Objects: How to classify?
Hi Mike, You've brought up a good question. This is a bit long and I will turn it into a tutorial and post it. I would like to know if anyone else has done this and if they had any difficulties or found alternative methods. Magix Music Maker

RE: MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2013 Premium-chapter menu text is cut
Hi, Your chapter name text is too long. Ask yourself "why do I want any chapters indicated in the editor?" If the answer is anything other than "So that they show up in the menu when I go to Burn a disk" then you probably do not need

PhotoStory Easy - trying to burn a DVD
I burned a couple DVDs of a slideshow, then deleted a few pictures, and saved it again.  Now when I try and burn a DVD, it asks me if I want to use VTS.01.VOB, and if I want to Rewrite chapter menu and chapter menu and chapter information, or

I am rephrasing the original question. See below.
I have been videoing a Choir singing Christmas Charols. The singers are positioned in a straight line and fit quite well in the "Widescreen" viewer of the camera with much room to spare at each end. I have tried using "Movie Edit Pro 14 Plus" and

RE: Magix MovEdPro (17) - is it possible to save a completed disc movie (DVD or AVCHD or BD) to the PC harddrive as a folder (VIDEO_TS or BDMV) instead of directly to disc media?
"The error message has nothing to do with navigating the menus - it appears because you have aborted the final stage of the burn process ie the writing of the files to DVD." I didn't abort the burning process, the program did - it stopped while

Hi I feel there is some confusion going on here - . . . . trying to navigate the Menu Edit features without getting an error message like this: . . . The error message has nothing to do with navigating the menus - it appears because you

John, I've managed to use the work-around by keeping the DVD-R tray empty. It creates the BDMV folder for AVCHD/BD, and the .VOB and .IFO files (without the VIDEO_TS folder) in the Disc Image location so that's fine. After rendering it requests a

John, Point taken about information overload, but as the thread is now a sort of reference manual (in need of editing!) I'll keep going.  Terry, "...I now see that it's apparently done by first right clicking each movie...". That's a new one

Thanks again John for the reply. Adobe isn't supporting Encore any longer, so I am looking for a replacement.  I tried Sony's DVD Architect Pro, but if keeps hanging my system, forcing a reboot.  Do you know of any other authoring tools that

Hi A qualified answer is yes - this is a standard part of the menu navigation system that  VPX creates. The submenus ( chapter menus) will be automatically created when you insert chapter markers on the timeline.  Customisation is available

RE: If I upgrade from Music Maker 2013 do i have to repurchase the license for the soundpool again?
Hi, You do not have to purchase the soundpool licenses again. Once you have the soundpools, you have them and you can use them in newer versions of MMM or Music Studio. The program just has to know where your soundpools are located. I have all

    Customize DVD menus and navigation
I am coming from Adobe Encore for DVD authoring, and I am curious as to whether VideoProX5 allows custom menu creation as follows: Main menu with two links, 1 link to start video at beginning, and 1 link (scenes) leads to 1st of multiple submenu

Menu scene selector doesn't work in vcr

Hello, I don't have Photostory 16, only 2013, but it is probably similar. I'm a bit lost, you say you have no idea where your photos are? Do you know how to use Windows Explorer? The media pool is similar to Windows Explorer. Under Media,
