RE: Pitch/Key in MAGIX Music Maker Rock Edition 4
Hi, I think you may be a little confused about pitch and key.  Pitch is a specific frequency or tone on a note on a scale.  Key really has to do with the group of frequencies or  "pitches" that go together to make the song. The "key" of a piece

Pitch/Key in MAGIX Music Maker Rock Edition 4
I'm trying to figure out the keys/pitches. I have been using Audacity for years and recording all of my own intstruments, only to find that in my trial, the pitch is referred to by numbers. I'm rather confused by this. If I want to add guitar or

RE: [Closed] HOW TO REMOVE BACKGROUND MUSIC FROM SONG ?
Hi, You also did not mention where the song came from.  If it is from a mp3 of a commercial song, vocal removal is very hard because it can only really be done if the left and right tacks of the stereo mix are recoded at exactly the same level.

RE: [Closed] HOW TO REMOVE BACKGROUND MUSIC FROM SONG ?
You did not mention which version of Music Maker do you use? Anyway, in Music Maker you can not completely remove music and retain vocals(voice). But if you use "Karaoke" Template you can reduce music from the song at some level only if your

RE: how can I move a track back a split second?
@procyon and @nihon, What you both are saying is absolutely correct if the project was totally created in MM, because if both the music and the vocals were created in MM they will both adhere to the 6 milisecond minimum which is the smallest

    RE: Removing original vocals
I agree with Procyon that you could use the "Karaoke" effect, but that will really only minimize the vocal track, not eliminate it in most cases. Which means that your vocal could be louder than the original which has been minimized, however if

    RE: Removing original vocals
Yes, there are a couple of products available that "claim" to remove vocals, but there is a catch.  They can only really do it if the vocals are center panned and at exactly the same level on both left and right channels.  If you really want to

When I sing a 3 sec. vocal, I try to apply harmonies to it (high or low) but It never works for this newbe. Should I just copy vocal and adjust pitch for another track?

Hi 1.  It would help if you could tell us your computer specification. 2.  If you a referring to importing an audio file and trying to seperate out the instruments and any vocals - you cannot do this. 3.  You must extract the audio files
