RE: [Closed] HOW TO REMOVE BACKGROUND MUSIC FROM SONG ?
Hi, You also did not mention where the song came from. If it is from a mp3 of a commercial song, vocal removal is very hard because it can only really be done if the left and right tacks of the stereo mix are recoded at exactly the same level.

RE: how can I move a track back a split second?
@procyon and @nihon, What you both are saying is absolutely correct if the project was totally created in MM, because if both the music and the vocals were created in MM they will both adhere to the 6 milisecond minimum which is the smallest

RE: Removing original vocals
I agree with Procyon that you could use the "Karaoke" effect, but that will really only minimize the vocal track, not eliminate it in most cases. Which means that your vocal could be louder than the original which has been minimized, however if

RE: Removing original vocals
Yes, there are a couple of products available that "claim" to remove vocals, but there is a catch. They can only really do it if the vocals are center panned and at exactly the same level on both left and right channels. If you really want to
