RE: Why does Magix misread a disk as a previous upload?
Thank you Jeff, you were correct when you said the MEP was seeing the same name (which in my case was Unknown DvD), so your work around worked perfectly. I even figured how to write movies onto my HDD in the process (by not uploading into

Thanks wabu. What version of MEP are you using? And sorry, for some reason I thought you were one of the Magix Support team - hence my query about embedded image resolution! -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK

Hi wabu, Here it's Alt+m and Alt+n. Or for better quality: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4019461/MEP-Export-Stills.jpg P.S: When are you going to become a bit more generous with the resolution of images on the site please? (Not significant

RE: downloading my media from this website
Of course you can download all your media from this webside... exactly in the format you have uploaded them... mp3's (in the quality you've uploaded them) and jpg's. But this has nothing to do with your Magix files and you should look for the

Hi Jeff,   As wabu says, it is user-settable, but it seemed to me throughout today that the default had changed to Latest First. But... I've just tried a few threads again and they seem to be back to Oldest First! I did rattle off a request

RE: What is the purpose of the file: NoBorderDefault_root.bmp
Rune, From what I understand the file is one of the many many that define buttons for menus. There are multiple variations that give the change in color when you do a mouse over etc. On my system with VPX 2.5 they are all in: C:\Documents and

You did it again, Carl! My offering was identical. Took me a while to remember how to use MEP 14 though. Or for better quality: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4019461/MEP14-Title%2BTexture-1.jpg   -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK

Where are the DVD Menus stored?
I've recently had to completely uninstall and reinstall VPX4 following a series of crashes of the program.  (I suspect the crashes were caused by user error!) However, following the reinstall I notice that several of the DVD Menu layouts which

Hi Terry Here is an oddball situation for you - since I have had to revert back to my trusty 4350 graphics card which I used with no HWA in MEP 2013 before patching, now I cannot produce a mp4 without turning on HWA With HWA off I keep getting

Hi Peter Thanks for the reference to the manual - I had not seen that one. The pros use UV tubes (blacklight blue) to light the screen which glows a fluroescent lime green, because this is not a commonly ocurring colour in the subject Agreed

RE: MEP 2013 YT uploads failing
Thanks Jeff. If I need to upload to YT before Magix fix this, then that's my preferred method too (in Firefox). The alternative of switching off 'H/W accel export if available...' adds about 25% extra rendering time based on the couple of tests
