RE: Creating a Caption
@hdrechsel18 @CubeAce Hi, A couple more points. To shorten a lower third that has video clips, trim a piece out of the middle of the video clips where there is no animation, and shorten the title. Conversely, to lengthen it, ungroup and

RE: Creating a Caption
Hi, Blue 2 is one of my favourites. Like many of the animated captions, the first and second objects are actually short video clips. Look at the properties: First one called Raise, is raise_box.mxv and it has a chromakey alpha effect; Second one

RE: Any problems to expect if upgrading CPU/MB/ and operating system?
@terrypin@terrypin@terrypin Hi all. I think John CB's first news desk is the closest to what I'd hoped for. I think what I would be after is something similar to what I can do with my stills photography where I can make it look like a convincing

RE: Any problems to expect if upgrading CPU/MB/ and operating system?
Hi Ray, I'm another Bluff Titler fan. While John is no doubt sleeping off his latest snow-shovelling exhaustion I can answer your question with a Yes. Just export the appropriately prepared BT result and import into MEPP for the usual chroma key

RE: Any problems to expect if upgrading CPU/MB/ and operating system?
@browj2 OK John. That is very impressive but can it be overlaid to video rather than stills? I only see still images being used in the examples or animated backgrounds. I do like the motion to sound though. Very smooth looking. Ray.

@browj2@browj2 Hi John. Thank you. I may have one more go at the beginning of that one as the intention was to get the word TECH to have a beat movement to the music, A bit like a heartbeat but at the time I did it I was still and still having audio

RE: XARA Web Designer Premium Version 16
@Lori-Laska Hi The link you posted is down, as is the website at www.lorikuklinski.magix.net/ - it was working yesterday evening. For decorations such a 'jewel' you may want to try reverting back to the oldest technology for animations on the web -

RE: XARA Web Designer Premium Version 16
Hi John, I created a simple animation in XARA Web Design Premium (V11) into a swf file that is held in a flash placeholder. It's a silly little file that, when the website is opened, looks like a small flashing jewel. I created variations of that

@CubeAce Hi Ray, I'm doing a video or our tour of Prince Edward County, Ontario, antique & junk shops and wineries, with friends. I was the designated driver. I have animated maps, GoPro footage from the car (the dialogue in the car was

RE: Background for "vertical video" in You Tube (for example)
@siegbrunn Hi Under Templates, Design elements, Edge effects there are many different effects that do what you are looking for. If there is not one that meets your need, many are animated and may be distracting, place a still image or enlarged

@Scenestealer Hi Peter. Funnily enough I was messaging John about it was a shame it was not practical to export the project due to it being over 15gig in size. As to your first question. I have had that box ticked on every export. Second question.

RE: [Closed] How can I insert an arrow into a frame in Movie Edit Pro 15?
Hi, This thread is 10 years old. You should have started a new one and indicated which version of MEP that you're using. That said, click on the arrow, go to Effects, View/Animation, Size/Position and change the zoom factor, and / or simply resize

@Emillo @browj2 I notice you are both on MEP2019 which does not have the new Infusion Engine that helps playback with multiple tracks and GPU accelerates transformations like Size Position and Rotation among other effects. Rotation always required a

RE: Choppy playback, unstable work and delayed response.(Nothing helps)
@Emillo Hi, The title 'Title templates-3D animation Basic' -> 'Pulsating1' is a 3D Maker object (X3D) and these can greatly drag down playback quality, especially with more than 1 at a time. Did you try rendering the range to include the title

RE: how to keep template/titles up longer?
@browj2 @eaadams Hi (Edit : - Did not see your replies while testing this) Interesting question that made me have a play with the possibilities. Dragging the bottom handle is fine with a static title but gets complicated if it is an animated title

RE: how to keep template/titles up longer?
@eaadams Ah! That can be difficult, depending on the nature of the template. In the case of the one that you selected, the objects on tracks 1 and 3 are mp4 files, which obviously cannot be lengthened by dragging. The object on track 4 is the text,

RE: how to keep template/titles up longer?
No, I'm specifically talking about animated templates titles. Standard titles are no problem. They are multiple tracks, locked together and if you change duration you only affect one track breaking the animation.

@Emillo Hi Your text description of what is on the timeline and what effects to apply does no match with what the image demonstrates ie there appears to be a Rotation effect applied to the three titles - see image below . . . . Title

RE: Any problems to expect if upgrading CPU/MB/ and operating system?
@Scenestealer Hi Peter. If you are referring to the 'Choppy Playback' topic posted recently I can say I get similar playback choppiness to his video, sometimes worse when using titling along with animating the titling during playback. So basically
