RE: Can you import tunes already on your computer from Window Media player/I-tunes in order to mix them?
You're probably correct. But, what are you trying to use copyrighted material for? You can't legally play or post any part of it outside your own room anyway. That said....why not go to your local library and borrow the CD, or better yet...BUY

website music
Hello, I am interested in adding music to my website. I realise that I can purchase non copyright tunes but I understand I would still need to purchase a licence at a cost of about £50 per year to do this. Is this true? I realise that Magix do not

RE: [Closed] Legal Rights
To the best of my knowledge...yes. The End User License Agreement (EULA) clearly states that the music content of MMM and the Soundpools DVD's can be used for commercial purposes (for profit). Obviously, original contect that you have created

RE: How do you download MIDI objects?
Nothing is wrong.....there are NO MIDI objects, until you create them! Well...that's not entirely true. When you open the Vita MIDI editor, there is a default MIDI object already in the editor. You can import other MIDI files, assuming you

RE: can I take a song and edit it?? as in, if I took american idiot and sepreated the voice out and then made the gituar all spacy
Yes, you can. I've done so myself. However, since it is still protected by copyright, I cannot share it with you. Breaking it up and adding things to it is relatively simple. Trying to remove selected bits is much more difficult, and possibly

RE: Re-installation of Movie edit pro 14
I think the installation media on the disc of the MEP 14 is not Windows 7 compatible, therefore perhaps the copyright protection scheme used on the software disc is being tripped and assuming it is not an authentic copy. My suggestion first is to

RE: [Closed] Why is the song I posted no longer on my profile.
You really should read the Terms and Conditions at the bottom of the screen. In it they state: "MAGIX stores the photos, videos, music and information ("Contents") for the customer or solely grants access to them. The customer alone is

RE: [Closed] selling my completed songs
If you are planning doing this on a regular basis I would even suggest you register with your local musician union or publishing office. You are rightly concerned about copyright infringment and that can go both ways. By registering your songs

RE: [Closed] Usage rights???
Hi again, I think Windows Media Player is just being funny about something in the header information of the exported files. The program probably sets a "copyrighted" flag in the file header by default or something like this. Windows Media Player

RE: [Closed] putting kvraudio synths into MMM14 Producer Edition
Hi Andre48, Maybe I'm just tired (it's late right now), but I'm not following your additional information dated 08-04. I'm not real knowledgable about adding vst instruments, but it is supposed to be very simple and involve files with a .dll

RE: Can't download movie to Zune from computer DVD player
It is probable that the DVD is copy-right protected. If you are trying to move a purchased DVD movie onto your Zune, it's not going to work. You can test this by simply attempting to copy the DVD to your computer using regular old Windows

RE: How do I upload songs from my iTunes in Movie Edit Pro 12???
You wouldn't be able to import M4P files- these are iTunes copyright protected files. Otherwise, if they aren't copyright protected files, make sure you are importing them from their actual location on your hard drive - the files aren't located in

RE: launching Magix
I guess I don't quite follow - you've installed the program, since lost the disc and now the program is asking for the disc to be inserted again, this sounds like a typical case of copyright protection/authentication failing. You can get around it

RE: How can i use music maker 14 to modify a song
Hi, Are you able to do the editing that you want or are you requesting help with that? As far as uploading I'm afraid that's a copyright issue. Even midi versions of songs require permission and are subject to copyright. Justin

RE: Magix Music Maker 12 xxl - Vista compatibility
Hi Neil, This seems to be an issue for many. If you go back through the previous questions (do a search) there are many things to try. Some have had success. I've heard there is even an "unlock code" from Magix AG. Something about Vista not

RE: since when and in which country did samples have any copyright protection?
Here is a kicker for ya: according to copyright laws - Karaoke and Midi versions of songs are illegal too unless they are properly licensed. Just removing the vocals from a song does not give you the right to post it or reproduce it. I can

RE: since when and in which country did samples have any copyright protection?
This is unfortunate, You can use the feedback link at the top right of this page and send a message directly to Magix support for this site. They are responsible for removing your song and can help you further. Keep in mind that not all samples
