  Hi, Re the created directory, I presume that you are talking about the backup directory. As far as I know, you actually have to create this by going to File, Backup copy, Copy......, or either Alt+S or Shift+R. There is no setting to do this

  Tks John, checked both directories Program Files & Program Files (x86) but no such thing as VST Plug-in folders. Strange thing is however that the dll-file does show in the Samplitude folder.

  Thanks for this. Having the same problem with Samplitude Music Studio (2013)  Have purchased Eventide Utra Reverb which cannot be detected by Magix.  Have checked directory as you mentioned but there is no VSTPlugins folder in my Program Files
