RE: MEP15 Encoder Settings - DV-AVI to DVD
Hi Gspot does tell the interlace setting of a video clip - it is the fourth item in the circle section in the image - here it is BFF ie Bottom Frame First.  If you hover your mouse over the labels in GSpot it tells you what they are and

    RE: need assistance
You should record the two different voices in two different tracks.  Then, in the mixer, pan one voice track hard left and the other voice track hard right.

RE: CAN I RECORD MULTIPLE TRACKS AT ONCE,CAN I COPY ONE TRACK TO ANOTHER TRACK
Yes, you can record multiple tracks at once with the Samplitude Producer 11.5, as-well-as the older versions of the Samplitude Music Studio... I believe beginning with version 12, but don't quote me on that. It has been several years since I have

I INSTALLED THE SAMPLITUDE MUSIC STUDIO MX AND WANT TO KNOW IF I CAN RECORD MORE THAN 2 TRACKS AT ONCE, AND I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IF YOU CAN COPY ONE TRACK ON TO ANOTHER TRACK TO MAKE 2 TRACKS OF THE SAME THING FOR PANNING?

    Tracing a track?
My holiday DVDs usually include walks (hikes) and I illustrate them in various ways. The simplest is to use a static image, perhaps with some zooming/panning. However I usuallly like to animate my walks. That's easy enough if I'm content with a

RE: Fast track only one channel
Thanks, but the connection between the Fast Track box and my pc is a usb-cable, so I think it should be possible to pan the mono-signal into both channels when I mix the song.

RE: Size and resolution of photo image for
Roger You are preparing a DVD and you are in the NTSC land (US) , right?  So the DVD resolution will be 720x480.  So your photos should be at least this resolution or bigger for zooms and pans (and almost all photos these days are much larger

    RE: Waves in photo.
You need to give us a lot more information, I think.  When you say "add any movement to a photo" do you mean panning/zooming or what?

    RE: Deliberate, or design flaw?
Hi Terry I am not surprised you are getting quite good results with those settings if you are mainly using stills. With a long GOP of 30+ there is only one complete (albeit compressed) frame every 33frames and all the others are just

    RE: Deliberate, or design flaw?
Fair comment I guess Terry but I guess things have changed a little in that some of the bugs previously got fixed in the German release before the English delayed release. I have not done much experimenting with MP4 / H264 bitrates in regard

Hi Terry I was using section zoom because mainly it was the slow zooming effect I was after rather than panning and movement as such. However I'm glad you've said it's flawed because I've noticed some baffling behavior with it! Anyway I've

That is the kind of slow zooming and panning you see on still images videos, talked about here:   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Burns_effect

When I drop a panoramic shot into a video using Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus andpan it in the video left to right how do I get the panned photo to have the same height as the rest of the images.
I am using Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus.  I have Windows 7.   I am creating projects made up of both videos and stills using 16x9 images. I often in the past have used stills that were panoramas (having much greater widths than the normal 16x9 parts of

Video mastered in Blue Ray does not convert smoothly in EditPro 15+ or 17+. Is there a conflict with interlacing?
I have a problem creating smooth scene transitions, pans and tilts due to rough, jagged interlacing. Pans are jittery and made up of double images. Fast moving images are reduced to a single field. To it's credit, the Blue Ray resolution is

RE: when i record, it only works for Right earphone and not so much left. using audio interface
CBY TLSE did a good job answering, but if you want a simple solution then when you are finished the recording there is a setting you can use to change your recording-if it only comes in on one side-into a stereo set. First do your recording.
