RE: Unable to import MKV files into Video deluxe 2026 Plus, Windows 10
@me_again I have nothing out of the ordinary I don't think - MPC-HC64, Lagarith, HuffYuv, UT Video Codec. Maybe a little less common is Hauppauge WinTV v10 and LAV Filters. Andy, I'm back on my main machine and you (and I) do definitely have

RE: Unable to import MKV files into Video deluxe 2026 Plus, Windows 10
@Gra_Ham In all cases quality is pretty poor I've digitised some Video8 tapes in the last couple of years and they've come out great so don't believe the naysayers. I suggest you play a tape to the TV (Yellow Video Out + RCA audio cables) and see

RE: MP4 audio going out of sync
@ron-griswold Hi 'locked' means, in this case, can only be used with Pinnacle Studio, it is not available for other software to use for video capture. Do you have the MediaInfo data on the recording? John EB

RE: "Missing" audio in VPX16
@emmrecs Methinks "copy" is not really just that. Topaz could be rewriting the head info that throws Magix. Magix has done this to me occasionally; seemingly bog-standard audio won't import. Try another capture process eg the Magix dongle with

RE: Cleaning up old VHS recordings
@jak.willis Post a couple of screenshots of your captures and we can point out what could be improved. Better still, if you have the videos on the timeline, do a File>Export Movie>JPEG and attach that here. 👍

RE: VHS captures, video "washed-out"
Edit: I've just another couple of captures and both the Preview and Captured levels match! I wonder if it was a per-tape issue... @AAProds, that is great news! Thank you very much for taking the time to complete more testing. It takes at least two

To log on to write this took 24 - yes TWENTY FOUR - capture thingys to log on even though the bottom right button marked NEXT changed to VERIFY many times. Agree. It's just as cheap-charlie system. Just slap up and image and put a grid on it. Thanks

RE: Problem with exported DVD
@emmrecs Eeek. Looking at it in VDub and discarding the fields, the problem is with the top fields. Some are "kept", way after the scene moves on. A good example is when the fellow on the right passes the structure walking slowly towards the other

RE: Cleaning up old VHS recordings
@jak.willis Hi Jak +1 👍 for @Pawel-Rybinski suggestion, especially if you have a lot of VHS captures to clean up. Do note NV does significantly slow down exports, this cannot be helped due the significant work load it imposes on the CPU/GPU. John EB

@DanP Hi . . . . The video which is captured is very choppy and it is only b/w with jumping black screens . . . . This is typical of what you can get when the wrong TV standard is used for capture, ie if the camera is recording to NTSC standard and

RE: Recordings have sections from other projects chopped into the middle
@Nick-Newby-Ricci That sounds nasty and a I can't offer an explanation. However, I doubt that you will need to recapture your tapes. It is not possible to have bits of captures embedded in other capture files, so I suspect it's a glitch with Video
