RE: Keyframe snapping in Movie Edit Pro 2014
I'm of the opinion that the surest way to select keyframe markers is with the little arrow icons at the left of the window. No jumping and no problem hitting the tiny dots on the timeline. Down side would seem to be having to go one by one down

RE: Keyframe snapping in Movie Edit Pro 2014
I just composed, and somehow lost, a rather detailed addition to this thread which I won't try and duplicate. In summary: The 'earthquake' template sets keyframes for rotation over the first second and a half. That's 45 frames with unique

I cannot include any images, it seems, so I can't show the difference between before and after selecting a keyframe via the diamonds... Use the image tool next to the Smilie icon. Browse for the JPG or whatever, send it to the magix.info

Hi . . . . I cannot include any images, it seems, so I can't show the difference between before and after selecting a keyframe via the diamonds. . . . . Odd - jpg, png and gif (included animated) are among the supported formats. At least you

RE: Keyframe snapping in Movie Edit Pro 2014
Glad to hear you can at least get your curve editied using curve points. John's suggestion about the mouse sounds very reasonable. I can get some occasional unexpected jumps of the diamonds if I do very quick double or triple clicks. Perhaps my

RE: Keyframe snapping in Movie Edit Pro 2014
Luegge, Exactly which of the templates are you using? I've experimented with several eg 'zoom in left', 'heartbeat' etc and don't see your problem -- simply selecting a keyframe doesn't change its timeline position. The only odd behavior noted

RE: Place keyframes and curves direct on timeline?
Keyframes for most effects can be edited directly on the timeline if they have been first created (or at least started) in the usual effects window. Note that some effects like image size/position have sub categories, eg height and width,

RE: Editing 'Carousel' 3D text
Hi Terry Mine does the same. I seem to remember, from the not so distant past in a previous version of Xara 3D, that certain effects required a special 'character' inserting which appeared as a white diamond between the letters. I have not

RE: Hi, how to control Erosion and Palette levels in object, meaning, is there automation or other control curve for them.
Adding to John's & Terry's directions: You won't see any key frame markers until you click on the add marker diamond icon (John has highlighted the control panel), or add one.by changing the value of the effect from its default

RE: Hi, how to control Erosion and Palette levels in object, meaning, is there automation or other control curve for them.
Hi Are you adding the keyframes using these controls? Set the Keyframe with the white diamond as per my previous post. You need to set thes where you want the effect to start and end and change the values in the Erosion setting eg If

RE: Movie Edit Pro 2013 - how to rotate image around specific point?
Hi There is a simple way with only 2 keyframes as follows: 1. Use Effects, Movement Effects, Size and Position to size put the image you want it 2. Position the timeline cursor at the point where you want the rotation to start. 3.

RE: How do you display track curves on video track?
I think I did find an answer. It has to be video level. Gotta' lower it to 99 at least. Put a diamond there somewhere, click on the eyeball and curve line and there you go. I just don't know how to do the same with the audio track. Anyone know?

Like George, my MX Premium manual make no mention of keyframes in the Image Stabilization section, and though the clip legend shows that Image stabilization has been done and stabilizations are listed in the effects window, there are no individual

Hi The easiset way for you to do this is to actually use the Movement camera/zoom effect on the clip set for the whole length of the clip - make this the first effect you add to a clip. Once this is done, keeping the clip selected, you should

RE: How can I have several clips (videos) all in cross-fades on a single frame?
nirvbanray, The effect shown in your sample can be achieved by having your two clips on different tracks one above the other. Then reduce the video level of the lower (higher number track) one by dragging down the little diamond shaped icon in

In MEP - WAV files always import at about two thirds volume - I do not know why Magix have decided to do this. You will see this as the audio object not showing as filling the whole height of the track. If you double click the little diamond

RE: How can I place a picture into my video as a ghost image in any location.
Hi. Not sure I fully understand what you are trying to do but if you are wanting to have an "image" super-imposed on your video (the image to be "ghosted", i.e. very feint) on the timeline I would place the photo on a track below where you
