RE: chroma key with mask?
@Schmacker Hi, Assuming that the screen stays white throughout, try putting the original on track 1 and moving presentation and the modified original with chromakey white down to tracks 2 and 3 or higher. So long as the presentation is resized down,

RE: Landscape V Portrait
Hi, Thank you so much for your reply. As you suggest, as a novice, I'm going to spend some time to read up on this subject in the manual when time permits. In the meantime, it's nice to know that the possibility is there. Thank you again for your

Hi, I don't have 2013 anymore, but I have the 2019 version. This should be approximately the same. Make sure that you are in timeline mode, not Storyboard. Click on the photo. Click on the Effects tab, There you should see View & Animation and

Travel Maps Problems - Turning off and on, Multiple photos, others
Travel Maps 1.0.1.332 TM has replaced Travel Route Animation in VPX, MEP and PhotoStory and works well for the most part. However, there are several problems that I have identified. See the video. The main problem is not being able to turn off the

RE: Animated straight line between any two points
Back on topic, I think animated straight lines can often be a good choice to illustrate trips and routes of all sorts. Here's an example I've just made quite quickly, entirely within MEP, with no add-ins or external video tools, using a pair of KFs

Travel Map Animation
Create map from Newark NJ to San Fransisco to Auckland NZ. Newark to San Fransisco, works fine, straight across the country. Add Auckland, NZ, the map redraws the Newark to San Fransisco leg all the way around the world instead of directly across

@johnebaker Hi John, Sorry, can't take a look. I have to get back to the campground. Just came out to check emails and do a couple of Travel Maps animations for our last 2 walks. @terrypin Hi Terry, Try using the animator in Xara. It is actually

RE: Animated straight line between any two points
Hi John, Hopefully your German language skill plus Walter’s tutorial will help! I’ll also get on the case in the morning if you haven’t found the solution by then. Meanwhile here are the steps I used: ANIMATING A TRACK IN MEP 2016 USING ECHO

RE: Animated straight line between any two points
Hi John, Thanks. Yes, John CB and I had some lengthy email discussions about that interesting ‘Echo’ method. It’s good to have it my line-drawing toolkit, but rather too complex for regular use. And the tracks I mainly animate are from walks and are

RE: Animated straight line between any two points
@terrypin Take a look at my tutorials on Xara with MEP. If you just want a static image, there is nothing to do in the animation part, just draw your shape and exit (upper right X) and the shape that you have drawn will be in an object on the

RE: Animated straight line between any two points
Hi Terry, Another way is to right-click on the map (selected) in MEP, Video effects, Create overlay graphics/animation, and create a line (start of line - very short), name it, give it colour and thickness that you want, Copy in the Animation Frame

RE: Photo Story Deluxe 18.1.3.65 - Travel Maps Issue
@Paz Hi, Indeed, it does. Firstly, in TM, the border that you have chosen, which I presume is the first rectangular one, a black border is created and you can see this when you play the animation; there is black space around the map. If you select
