RE: Travel Route Animation does not cross International Date LIne
BTW: Magix Technical support did get back to me about the issue with TRA: This is the official response: "Unfortunately it is not possible to cross the date line within our Travel Route Animation." Well, alright then. Good to know.

RE: how to remove jagged edges around titles
Hi Terry Aha - a different method for doing the resizing - I was using the handles in the text editor section, you are using the Sixe/Position in Effects. Your method does indeed introduce sub standard text as shown below To

RE: MEP 2013 Preloading - slow? ineffective?
Hi Terry You can move all the files in the project folders to the second drive - make sure you have good backups before doing this. MEP stays on your C:Drive which then become a pure system drive. All my data files are stored on the second

RE: How do I delete an old title and replace it with a new one?
Thanks George. I just got back from a Chinese buffet and I'm going to try the task again - one task only, and I want to do it in the timeline mode. I want to cut the 20-second title off the 10-minute video CD and replace it with a Magix

@ Terry All it needs, John, is a couple of weeks off work Nice idea Terry - will be off for 3 weeks overs Christmas however I do not think I will have time to do this as I will be sliding down snowy mountains on two planks trying to stay

RE: MEP 2013 Preloading - slow? ineffective?
Hi Peter, Well, I suppose I'm getting some sort of general 'feel' for what the German posts are about. And it is good to know that they are finding similar bugs and quirks. (Although I saw nothing on several of the things I've raised, like the

RE: MEP 2013 Preloading - slow? ineffective?
Hi Peter, Many thanks for that most helpful post. And for sticking with me on this and some of the quirks I'm seeing in 2013 in particular! I've just changed my settings in the Video/Audio tab to try out a couple of your suggestions. Here's

RE: MEP17+HD project edit file name / version does not update in window
Rather than my usual 'ADDED:' I'll post here... You can change the name of a movie from 'File' >> 'Manage movies' >> 'Rename...'. And also remove movies which is handy if you decide to merge two rather than having a two movie menu

RE: Are there pre-made music loops in MusicMaker Soundtrack that can be pulled into a PhotoStory Slide Show?
Of course there are pre-made loops in music maker... but no complete tracks. these you have to build yourself... if you don't get around to it... they are various websides where you are able to download free tracks (creative commons) of all

Hi Michael After Georges comment I think I will put in a requestion for a small bell like smiley . Seriously though - I always use the MOV format because I feel it is the better container format for HD files. AVI has often led to peculiar

RE: MEP 2013 - Why larger icons?
Thanks Peter - missed that! (But see my later post with a flimsy excuse.) So I spent a couple of hours yesterday re-writing a few macros that depended on clicking various icons in the positions long established in 17 and MX. All because I

RE: MEP 17/MX/2013: Sizing/display bug
Hi Terry Following your sequence I get the same results. I misunderstood your original post in the sequence you were doing things - when I jump to image editing I have a habit of closing down MEP which clears unwanted data stored in the cache

RE: how to manage film time lengths?
Hi, You don't say what version of MEP you are using. The locations of the Help section on this obviously varies, but every version covers it and can be found under headings like Timeline or Zoom. There, or in the PDF Manual, you'll find

RE: Paste text into Scrolling Credits in Magix Video Edit Pro 2013?
Hi Terry Thanks for trying. Unfortunately for this test, the Word 2000 file format is different Word 2007 / 2010. Microsoft in their wisdom change to a different format with Word 2007 onwards which caused all kinds of problems

MEP2013: One quirk afater another...
I'm seriously considering reverting to MX (which has its own flaws), as I'm being hindered by so much flakey behaviour with MX. Reckon I'm spending 10 times as much time on analysing/reporting these as on creative work. The latest is shown
