I just opened up one of my newly cut and pasted files, tried this technique, and it worked just fine. Sunday, when I was working on this, I swear I tried the same thing and failed. I don't know how I screwed it up, but I did. Thanks for the info.

Ah. At least I'm not alone. I raised this with Magix last week. They say the know the cause (but they're not sharing that information) and they working on a fix. I find I can click the destination box and select a place name and a map loads.
