Why not just finish the songs in MM-11 and leave it at that?  You can have two versions of MMM loaded on your computer at the same time. ------------------------------- It may be possible, but I can't say for sure since I don't own MM-17.  I

    RE: FXpansion
First of all, FXpansion is not an "synth" - it is a company that creates and sells music software. From what I can tell, the VST software this company sells is too complex and sophisticated to install in MMM as a plug-in.  You would need a

RE: I AM SO SICK OF VIDEO 17 CRASHING
Thank you John. The notebook actually doesn't get hot, I have the fans and odds and ends to keep it cool. Most of my work is composing and arranging; this uses up much more processing power than video (Cubse/reason/soft synths etc). It

RE: How do i fix this?
You might want to give this a try... Press "Y", or go to File (menu) >  Settings > Program settings (Y) .  Go to the "Folders" tab and click the "Reset VST plug-in information" button.

To my knowledge, MMM Rock Edition has been available in Europe for some time.  It has only recently been made available in the USA. You might want to give this a try... Press "Y", or go to File (menu) >  Settings > Program settings

RE: How can I get the keyboard provided by Magix Music Maker 17 to play the provided instruments the program offers?
Hi,   Make a test :   Drag Vita VST on a track.   1 -  Are you able to listen the default notes playing (piano)? If YES, it works.   2 - In the MIDI editor, the vertical piano keyboard on the left side is only

    RE: How to create arrangements
Absolutely!  You can either record your own original audio using a microphone or an instrument.  You can also record original MIDI tracks using Vita alone or with an external controller keyboard.  (See your next question about the keyboard.)

RE: How do I obtain different MIDI "Instruments" or sounds? [Music Maker 16]
That sounds like all of the synths you should have with the Basic version.   Upgrading to the Premium version will not only give you the Revolta synth, an upgraded Beatbox 2 Plus, Mastering Suite and many additional instruments in Vita, but

What version of MM-16 are you using?  Basic or Premium?   Are all of the synths loaded?  What synths do you have showing in the Synth tab?     Assuming you have MM-16 Premium, here is another good source of VST

Additional: According to suggestion #2, when I read the answer it seems everything will work fine. No need of re-install. I do not use Windows 7 therefore, I can not say 100%.   For suggestion #2, I hope you know where is Synth Folder, copy

RE: How do I create the lowest MIDI notes for a 7-string guitar?
Yes, I meant outside of Samplitude.  There are all kinds of free VST plug-ins you can add to your arsenal.   If you stick to guitar emulations, you might be stuck with standard six-string tuning range, but I can't say for sure.  I did find

Well, I've installed SampleTank 2.5 FREE and tried to use it in MM-15 with no luck.  They say it can be used as a VST plug-in, but there is no '.dll" file provided.  I chose that as an option during installation.  They say there's no difference

    RE: Install Plgins
That's because the "VST plug-in" folder is generally called the "Synth" folder.   Go to the Folders tab in the program settings ('Y' key) and click on the "Add VST plug-in path..." button to find the name and location of this folder.

Absolutely! However, since MMM is not a full DAW, it may not have all of the functionality as if used with a DAW.  For instance, MMM will not respond to pitch bend or modulation wheel commands (in MIDI).  I don't know if it will for other VST
