RE: vista & sampletude = static?
I would look for the latest drivers for your Profire and install them, also make sure you're using ASIO withing Samplitude. Since your interface is Firewire (I think) then you can't use ASIO4ALL but the built in (preferably from M-Audio) ASIO should

RE: [Closed] I had the trial version, I registered. I need good Soundpools.
Hi, There are free ones available and there are sites like freesound.org that have good samples but realistically you should purchase a soundpool collection. They are high quality and come in 6 or 7 pitches of a major scale. Definitely worth the

RE: i can't seem to record my vocals. what am i doing wrong?
Hi, We'll get this solved for you... I just need some more details. 1. You say you drag the vocals? If they recorded they should already be there. Where did you drag them from? 2. When you record, are you bringing up the record dialog window,

RE: cadd or pply auto tunes to my vocals on this program?
What is cadd or pply? Yes you can do autotune type effects with this program, it's actually not bad - definitely more mechanical than autotune but very usable. Justin

RE: [Closed] To which chords refer the numbers 1 to 7 in the soundpool? No 1 is the C Mayor, No4 is F mayor and No 5 is G mayor. But what are No 2,3,6 and 7?
Hi, They're all based on a C scale and not necessarily a chord structure. While many may be in the key of C they're not always true Major, some are Minor and etc. That being said, they're in the sequence of a C scale. 1=C, 2=D, 3=E, 4=F, 5=G,

RE: [Closed] Can't get line in sound when recording in audio cleaning lab 15
Also make sure the line in has not been inadvertently muted in Vista or the level brought all the way down. This can be done through the control panel or by double clicking the speaker icon in your system tray. Justin

I can't help much with ACL but check your program settings. Ensure the record and playback parameters are set correctly to line in. Justin

RE: [Closed] A soundpool item in MMM15 Premium is starting to playback choppy.
Also go into the System Properties in your Windows Control Panel and set windows to focus on background tasks. That will dedicate more processing power to audio applications. You should also install new drivers for your sound and video (yes

RE: [Closed] DVD won't play on DVD player
What Justin said. However, before you pass this off as a pure readability issue, a failure of the player to read the physical medium properly and get the data from the disc, you might want to double-check to make sure that you have burned the

RE: SearI CANT RECORD MY VOICE ON MAGIX MUSIC STUDIO 11. THE MUSIC TRACK JUST RECORDS AGAIN , IT DOUBLES...
Sounds like you have the REC button checked in the icon area of your track. Uncheck that and bring up the record dialog. Check the playback while recording button so you can monitor. Try recording again and see if it comes out better this

RE: [Closed] DVD won't play on DVD player
Hi, This has been gone over a lot here, a search of previous posts might help. Many DVD players do not play burned DVDs well - other don't like certain formats. It's best to experiment with DVD+R, -R and etc. Avoid using the RW as they rarely

RE: Mastering in Music Maker 15
You should have a Mastering button separate from the Mixer; the mixer is a separate module from the mastering suite - make sure your particular version has the mastering suite included. You can find out more by going to the help menu. Justin

RE: [Closed] A soundpool item in MMM15 Premium is starting to playback choppy.
Hi, If ASIO and makes things worse then you have a processing problem (unfortunately common with AMD processors). If the universal ASIO did not solve the problem then I would suggest increasing your audio buffers in Magix. You ARE NOT reaching

RE: cant hear myself when i record in magix music maker 15
What you want to do is called monitoring - In the record dialog screen check the box for "Playback While Recording" and you can monitor your vocals as you record. That is the easiest way considering your interface is USB and your output is your

RE: Is the first of the pitches 1-7 in the key of C major?
Hi, Ralftaro beat me to it but yes. You can also use the pitch shift (double click the object) in your effects rack to change the pitch of a given sample. You can then add a # or b by changing a .5 step. Justin

RE: How do I record the instrumental ALONG WITH my vocals?
Are you playing the instrumental from a different player? There is a way to record but you're MUCH better dragging the instrumental into Music Maker and "merging" the two that way. You also get the benefit of controlling the levels individually

You may be experiencing latency - what are you using for your recording interface? Make sure you set Music Maker to record with ASIO - preferably the free download from ASIO4ALL.com You can also increase your buffers to reduce latency. Justin

Hi, Unfortunately that is not what this program is for. You can create your own instrumental versions but removing vocal is difficult and sometimes impossible. You need to search for a .vst plug-in that will do this, they are called vocal
