I believe that the product Video Deluxe is called Movie Edit Pro in North America. There maybe subtle differences with the German and other versions as there are I am sure different license restrictions and the video standards for Europe is PAL

You might need to make sure your DVD players can play "Region 0"... information on DVD Region Also, does your computer playback the DVD you burned? One of the first mistakes I ever made burning a DVD was to burn it in a PAL

Are these exports into a PAL format or a NTSC? I think if the original content was in PAL (25 fps) and exported as a NTSC (29.97 fps) maybe that could happen. I have to check that out to really understand. I know in my world of audio

MAGIX @udio & Video office was released in 2000 for North America, it was later replaced by Video Deluxe in 2001, which became the Movie Edit Pro in 2003. Music Maker 5 was released in 2000, there were two versions a Standard and Deluxe.

It does sound like it might be a pure readability problem, in which case using a different make of DVD blanks would certainly be worth trying. However, just to be on the safe side and rule out that this is not an issue caused in the DVD encoding
