[Solved] Does Magix MEP2016 Allow Web Cam Capture?
Hi Gang - Greetings to John CB, and everyone (hope all is well) I'm using Skype to record some video interviews. The problem is that Skype has eliminated the Split Screen feature, naturally making many people very unhappy. Aside from choosing a

I had a thought that may help and did a little test, I found a very old video file that was imported from a video tape recorder and got the same 'stereo' error message. below is the screen shot of the properties. You can see this was capture in

    RE: Hi8 Blue Screen
@kevin-c2769 Kev, it will almost certainly be either a cabling issue or digitiser settings issue. Try a Composite cable and then an S-Video cable. If no joy, try it on your TV (Composite connection only probably). In the program "Import" settings,

RE: Can not trim or delete portions of audio
@Gid Yes, that's good, probably doesn't need to be that much, could you do a short screen capture on Magix to check? I think 175% would still be OK.

@AAProds, Thank you for the link to the histogram tutorial. It was excellent and I plan to include it in my analog capture toolkit.Fortunately, with the Startech dongle, I am able to access the VDub's Proc amps via Video/Levels and adjust them in

RE: Unable to import MKV files into Video deluxe 2026 Plus, Windows 10
@me_again It gives a remedy to the situation by using "Hybrid" but I don't understand any of it. Hybrid is a "not easy" GUI for all sorts of advanced video operations and is very capable. I wouldn't suggest it for @Gra_Ham @Bol our information might

    RE: choppy video
@DanP Some other points: it looks like the HC32 is a NTSC camcorder. Your capture settings should be: NTSC: 720x480, 4:3, 29.97fps. Also, check you have "Composite" (yellow video cable) or "S-Video" (4-pin round-plug cable) chosen for the input on

    RE: VHS captures, video "washed-out"
@Can-Dive It is true that the capture was washed out but the fault is the Startech capture device, not the software and this has been documented. Nothing's "at fault". The levels have not been set correctly for that particular tape. The levels

RE: Problem download video using FIREWIRE

@KJS-LES I also want to ask about the regular sharpening tool. It hardly seems to have any affect. The AI Sharp is better, but I thought the original "plain" Sharpen tool was the best. Any suggestions on their use? I did try the AI version on some

@profilaxagm Hi, I confirmed the problem in your other thread. The PTF problem was fixed, but Magix broke the part that worked - putting trimmed clips from the timeline to the PTF and back - gives only 1 second. @johnebaker @Bol Hi, John EB, I

RE: Puting finished movie with Title Page + chapters onto a USB stick ?
@johnebaker Thanks John, I've since "burnt" an ISO of a AVCHD project and can see the quality should be better (although it sounds like VHSGuy is working VHS captures) at the expense of disk space.

RE: Linking "videos" or "projects" question
@Gid That zoomed-in portion on the first vid is much better. Yes, you're constrained by the screen capture; I use Bandicam which lets me choose an area, so I can just lasso a smaller Magix window.

you can read about rec.709 HERE. It is basically an industry standard for color. Importantly, 709 is used only for HD ie 720 and above. For SD, the BT601 colour space must be used. All decent video capture devices capture using BT601. If you export
