  Just pressing preview won't give you a preview of the slideshow on it's own, you have to click on the big button "Create movie (Preview)" before pressing Preview. This won't change the pictures on the timeline until you click on Apply. AndyW

  @thisismichael If you right click on the preview window there's options, have you ticked one? It should be on Standard 2D. You can upload pics & video using the arrow button next to the smiley at the top of a new comment.
