RE: how do i stop the music from skipping
It will also depend on what you're using for Recording/Playback in the program settings. .WAV for example with use a lot of CPU cycles and cause a stutter on some machines. Try to use ASIO whenever possible. Justin

RE: to have the music fade when presenter speaks
Hi, Movie Edit Pro's audio recording function does offer the ducking that Justin mentions, but that would require that you're actually doing the voice-over recording on your system and you're willing to do it all over again, as you have obviously

RE: to have the music fade when presenter speaks
Hi, What you want to do is called ducking - I'm surprised MEP does not include this feature since other Magix products do. Try searching the help file for ducking and ensure it's not a feature included. If not you can always do your audio work in a

Hi, I understand your frustration but let me help clear up a few things. I agree that this is not the best format and MUCH work needs to be done. First, this is user run "forum" driven by questions by users and answers by those of us with more

RE: Buyer Beware MM15 and Soundpools
Hi, I just had to chime in - perhaps someone at Magix is listening. I've been answering questions and posting here for quite a while and I'm equally frustrated! Magix clearly has neglected QA as well as service; I still use Version 12 and will

RE: What does MP3 Export (10 encodings left) mean?
Hi, It's because you must pay an additional fee to continue to export to .mp3 - they claim there is a huge added expense and to keep cost down the must charge for this feature. Now the .mp3 distribution license does cost money but it's not

RE: [Closed] Am I able to get new free soundpools? If so How?
Yes... quality, clean samples are very difficult to create and not usually free. Especially when multiple pitches of the same sample are included. You can find some good samples at freesound.org but you're better off saving your money and buying

RE: Magix does not play music when my mic is plugged in...
I have to agree in part here - recording interface (external sound card) is the way to go. With a pc sound card you need a PC mic like your Logitech. Once you get a proper mic as you did you run into a limitation inherent in Magix... they do NOT

RE: I'm getting static noises during mixdown of my synthesizer tracks
Hi, Is it only the synthesizer tracks that have static? Are you mixing down to add additional tracks? Perhaps is memory related then. It's not necessary to mix down unless you need the space. Can you export to .wav or .mp3 - do you get static

RE: how do i hook up multiple microphones for live recording
Yeah... ditto that; everything will record to a single track with Music Maker. The M-Audio 2626 is a great interface but way too much for Music Maker... not even in the same league. You can try Samplitude or even Cubase - both of which will allow

RE: [Closed] program keep shuting down...
Are you using the full version? How much memory do you have? Try installing fresh drivers for your sound and video and consider using a universal ASIO driver from ASIO4ALL.com. Have you made any major program changes to buffers and etc? Justin

RE: STATIC DURING PLAY BACK MAGIX STUDIO 11
Hi, It sounds like a driver issue, try downloading the free universal ASIO driver from ASIO4ALL.com Make sure you choose it in your program settings for your ASIO device and that should clear things up. Justin

RE: How do I erase the sound that were captured during recording
Hi Sam, If you have background sounds that recorded with the sounds you wish to keep then I'm afraid it's not possible (at least not feasible). Once a source is recorded into a single file it's almost impossible to remove just certain sounds...

Also make sure you're recording using ASIO drivers in Magix program settings - that will take much of the burden off your processor (with a decent sound card). Justin
