Text to speech

Hi, I am testing out Sound Forge Pro 18. There is a new feature, Text to Speech. Is this free and included? I went to test it and it seems to be a paid for service, is that correct?

@AAProds Hi Al, You can type in the text editor box where it may be easier to see and read what you are doing and you can see it on the monitor. If you open the text in the monitor, you don't see the placement on the screen until you close it

@Paul-Weiler What happens if you type in some other text? I wouldn't be surprised if copy-pasting text from a PDF includes some invisible characters that might throw the audio generation off. Yes, I saw on the screenshots your files are 16bit, 24kHz

SF18 (build 21): Text to Speech problems

In Vegas if I open text to speech I can type multiple lines of text by simply pressing enter. With text to speech in Sound Forge I can't type more than one line. Pressing enter does nothing. Is anyone else having the same issue? Thanks. Secondly,

@buddy-w It's likely you cannot enter more than 10 000 characters at once because the AI cannot handle this and need to process your text in chunks. I wouldn't recommend to convert everything at once, but only some sentences, because it can happen
