@rickduley Hi, got to be honest I don't work with audio so there might be an easier answer so until you get a better reply - If the voiceover is on a separate channel try right click the audio track - Audio Cleaning & choose a channel ,

Hi. Click on the image to expand it. Let me know if you still can't find settings. The mixer once opened you need to press the effects button on the master channel to get to the limiter. In the audio settings only click twice on the + sign for the

RE: [Solved] Easily swap left & right channels for a given selection
@Paul-Crawford2320 Make a selection, then go to Process > Channel Converter, you can select the preset [Sys] Stereo to Stereo - Swap Channels or even select a Stereo to Mono preset or create your own.

Channel meters do not work during recording.
Sound Forge 17 & 14 - Clicking the Microsoft Mapping buttons on the top of the channel meters stops them from working. How do you turn them back on? Under View>Windows Layout>Stereo Recording has channel meters on the left side of the

Sound Forge Scripting - Efficient Cassette Tape Archiving
Hi, I have zero experience with scripting. I'm wondering if this is possible with Sound Forge scripting, and if so, is anyone willing to create such a script for me? Here's what I need. I'm working on a large cassette tape archiving project, and for

RE: Sound Forge Pro 14 Multichannel FLAC Support
@Timbre4 FLAC files are popular, this doesn't strike me as an unreasonable request to provide a multi-channel FLAC save option Although not affected by this at all, I think you are correct; it is not, in my opinion, an unreasonable request, though

@Chris-Kuhn Hi There is no direct channel switching effect, however try the Effects, Video effects, Art filter options - the Substitution effect may be the closest option depending on what you are trying to achieve. If you have the NewBlue Filters

@Reyfox They have this image of Franco Aversa, who has been the "face" of the product for years. I'd like to see what he's edited with the software. Point me to some of the "high quality" video he was mentioning. I found Franco's youtube channel.

RE: Sound Forge Scripting - Efficient Cassette Tape Archiving
@SP. What I've actually been doing manually is copying the processed "side b" audio, copying it, pasting it at the end of the quad file, and then converting the quad file to stereo. This avoids the need to make a new blank stereo file to paste

Unless you can remix the song(s) from the original multi-track recording tapes or files in a 5:1, 7:1 or immersive format, it is best to leave be IMO.You could assign the stereo left channel to the 5:1 front/left and the stereo right to 5:1

RE: Sound Forge Scripting - Efficient Cassette Tape Archiving
@SP. Thanks so much! Actually, after writing my post, I realized that, of course, I could simply swap the L/R leads on channels 3&4, thereby removing the need to swap the channels in sound forge. Can you modify your script to remove that step?
