RE: AVi Video Clip - End of Clip Chopped Off On Insertion / Drag and Drop To The Arranger In Edit Mode - Advice
Hi Whalebat, I had this problem with M-JPEGs back in 2009 in MEP15. I found an old AVi file from that time which still exhibits that same behaviour in MEP17. This is how I fixed it. In Program Settings > System > Import Formats

RE: I am having problems updating my MAGIX movie editor, what should I do to fix the problem?
I think the problem is that the Movie Edit Pro 11 was not released for Vista. Magix Movie Edit Pro 11 was released in 2006. Microsoft Windows Vista was released in 2009. By the time Vista was released I think Magix was on Movie Edit Pro 14.

Excellent suggestion - I downloaded both the 2009 and 2010 burner updates and between them they fixed the problem - I can now burn my cds again. Thanks for the advice.  John

I gave up and asked to have version 16. Seems to work so much better on my 2009 Lenovo Ideapad Y530 laptop running Vista 64.

RE: Movie Edit Pro 14 - Which update required to enable burn?
This problem was solved by downloading the 2009 version of DVD burner updates - magix_burn_routines_2009_8.1.0.185_uk.exe   instead of the 2010 version.   The DVD burner is now recognised on the Pavkard Bll imedia desktop running under

I had exactly the same problem, in MEP14, went to burn to a DVD, the DVD window was blank.  MEP14 came out a few years ago, and wouldn't have today's burners, so it was necessary to go to this site and find the burner updates.  There were

Thanks for the speedy reply John. It's being exported, primarly, to Quicktime in 25 FPS at 1080p (although I've tried various different quality settins, I don't think that's where the problem is.) I have recently noticed that the videos

Sounds strange.... Did you install the files on the harddisc? If so it should work. If not, this might have to do with the problem. I do not think it is a problem/bug of the product itself. It is out in Germany since September 2009 - so the
