@jtu001 You don't mention the use of any graphics card on your system and no matter how powerful a CPU you may have, or how much system ram you have, without a sufficiently powerful GPU it could well strain the system to a breaking point. System ram

@CubeAce Hi, maybe he also has a more modern 4000 series GPU, I've no doubt that it's because @Can-Dive has a newer PC & working on a laptop with a smaller preview window is sometimes better. I'm working on a 32 UHD Dell monitor, no integrated

Thanks mate. All done. No worries. BTW, changed processing from CPU to onboard video chip. It cut processing time in half. It is pity that my NVIDIA doesn’t work.

I know you have to be careful if you 'overclock' your CPU so I just turned it up a bit to get better performance out of my PC for rendering. Here is the link from YouTube:

@Apollo89x Hi . . . . Would there be any "negative impact" from doing this? . . . . The higher levels enable higher resolution and frame rate video formats, however they can take more CPU/GPU processing and require higher spec playback devices to

Hi @johnbeaker. Thank you for that. I should have checked to see if CPU was set by default. My GPU did not work even with the previous version of Movie Studio.

I have downloaded and reinstalled sound forge 17.0.2 on a windows 11 Pro computer with Intel i7-13700 CPU, rebooted, and tried to launch. It would not launch and would not give any error message as a hint to why it would not launch. It just pops up

@johnebaker What do you see in Task Manager, Performance charts for the RTX 3060 when exporting to AV1? With the 3060 only: Around 25% CPU, 35% 3060. With CPU only: 40% With UHD 770 only: CPU 30%, 770: 25% Can you also check the GPU Architecture
