  @Alison-Whyte Hi Ali, Is the footage in portrait mode? If so, MEP2021 is supposed to recognize this and do something. What exactly, I haven't looked at. I presume that you can use size/position to fix the inverted dimensions. Did you try? John CB

  @lew Hi . . . . Source is mixture of various mobile phones . . . No effects, only simple rotations . . . That is what I was expecting. Did you use the Rotation effect buttons, indicated by the red X, in the image below to rotate the offending clips

  Thanks both for replies On the timeline it looks normal. A single clip with nothing overlaid I do not think i have 3D turned on (as i am honestly not sure how to do that) Yes, it is a mixture of landscape and portrait clips throughout the video
