    RE: Update
@me_again HI Andy . . . .  if it was an issue with my account then Al, John Cb and yourself would have the same corruption. . . . By your account I mean the PC Windows account/profile/login - it has several names - that you use. I had a corrupt

    RE: Upgrading my Computer (again!)
@me_again Andy, I'd write to Magix Support and ask the question. I'm sure they've tested the ARC cards. We need a trailblazer. Like VCRs, CD players and electric cars, we need an early adopter! You da man!!

    RE: The AV1 codec
@me_again Andy, to add some info, on my system (RTX 3060Ti), with GPU selected for HW encoding, I don't get it ("Mixdown..." only), but I have full control over the bitrate (I set 3,000 for the average and it gave me 2700). Regardless of the HW

@AAProds Hi Al . . . . Wozzat all about? . . . . Much a do about nothing 😮, other than me trying to complete my comment before going out and misreading the version number I saw .199 and assumed it was the next update for 2024, it wasn't it was MMS

    RE: Upgrading my Computer (again!)
@me_again Hi Andy Interesting Intel article, one of the key elements, I picked out from the hardware specs of the system used is that the motherboard supports PCIe 5 which is up to double the speed of PCIe 4. John EB

RE: MP4 audio going out of sync
@me_again Andy, have you tried that technique exporting a WAV from Magix and bringing that back in? @ron-griswold Ronald, if the audio is going progressively more out of sync as time goes on, you can stretch the audio, independently of the video.

    RE: Upgrading my Computer (again!)
@me_again Hi Andy. Normally I have it disabled but now and again I activate it manually to remind me on drivers I may not have checked up on for a while like ReakTeK, just on the off chance they ever update anything. Ray.

RE: error exporting any MVP projects to video (like AV1 etc)
@me_again Thanks Andy. It looks like I'm going to have to go for the upgrade to find out for myself. @M-Coenen Glad you have it sorted. For future problems that you might enquire about could you put your complete computer specs in your

RE: movie of stage show but on stage LCD screens cause movie flicker
@me_again Hi Andy. The use of Chroma Key is a fudge for MMS and VPX. Ideally you need a video editor that allows different blending modes on the overlaying track. Then Multiply or Overlay can work much better. Three overlapping tracks produces too

    RE: Update
@me_again Hi Andy, I'm not sure whether this NV problem is entirely a result of the latest release of VPX/MMS. I experienced it yesterday, though I'm not wholly certain it occurred after updating VPX; embarrassingly, I can't remember! (Blame old

    RE: Upgrading my Computer (again!)
@me_again Hi Andy. It may have more to do with the Fabs Andy. All production eventually becomes more efficient the more they work at a specific die size. Less problems on dies mean more chips with less problems that don't have to be downgraded,

    RE: Movie Studio 2025 Released
@me_again Hi Andy. Never thought about it but yes that section of the program does show the AV1 with thumbnails. @johnebaker Hi John. I meant the old media player. I hadn't realised that Microsoft had reintroduced a new Windows Media Player as a

RE: Deinterlacing-How does Magix do it?
@johnebaker John, arr, no, I thought you had a 59.94i file. 29.97i translates to 59.94P. 59.94i would double rate to 119.88P. Your videos are showing each field as a frame, so they are 59.94P (double-rate deinterlaced from 29.97i). I can't get the

RE: [Solved] Timeline colour and selection
@me_again @CubeAce I believe Andy is right; in previous versions "Fade in/out" by dragging that line did affect both audio and video. (I've used that feature many times.) Not so now! No idea why that was changed. The effect of the change is that any

RE: How to fix or smooth de-interlaced content?
@jak.willis But if the content was broadcasted deinterlaced, how can it be fixed? As I said in post 2. Try exporting it as MPEG 2. It will be re-interlaced. Whether that will actually improve the viewing experience, only you will be able to

@me_again Hi Andy With patch .239, Autosave is working fine for me, with a new project and re-opening a pre .239 project (so far !). . . . . If I open an existing pre-v239, there are no autosaves even after an hour or so . . . If I save the project

RE: MP4 variable frame rate and a possible "Cure"

    RE: Upgrading my Computer (again!)
@me_again Hi Andy. Did you take a gander at the two Intel web pages I linked to? If you have an ATX case then I don't think you will fit an Arc 770. Also yesterday nvidia released news of their new cards. Cheaper than their old series. I assume

[Closed] DLM manager fails to load on installation, so no built in plugins
I've just installed Windows 11 Home (22h2 64 bit) on my laptop, but now when I install Acid Pro 8  the DLM Manager fails to load, which prevents built-in plugins such as ReverbFX and ExpressFX from appearing. I have already performed a thorough set

    RE: Timeline Cursor Question
@me_again Hi Andy, My copy of MMS2024 only has the CPU % usage but no 35/35. In VPX16 it has CPU % usage and 35/35. I wonder if there is a setting that can be turned on/off or is this a feature just available on VPX? The 35/35 is pretty consistent.
