Thanks johnebaker, I, have my answer. Sorry to have wasted your time. If you can't tell from the information I have given you that my PC must be running with specifications well above the recommended specifications (not minimum) you can't help

MEP 2013 capturing video with Black Magic Design Intensity Shuttle through USB 3.0.
I need to know if this device will, or will not work with MEP so I can go a different direction if I have to... Is anybody else successfully using an Intensity Shuttle for video input and capturing with MEP 2013? According to what I've read on

RE: I feel sort of overwhelmed with Magix Video Pro X4 Is this the correct program for a beginner?
Christian, ...and I was a bit overwhelmed by the breadth of your question! I think George has covered the basic issues of DVD burning. Perhaps start with modest 16:9 standard definition DVD. 16:9 as that is getting to be the norm unless you're

RE: Magix Music Maker - Getting Complete-Beginner's Success when trying to mash/ mix
An interesting piece, but a little incoherent I think. For someone to create even a basic tutorial for what you ask would take a great deal of time and effort.  It would be better if you took the time to read the owner's manual and learn how to

RE: how can I delete single points in an audio track?
But this would require MEP/VPX to have much more sophisticated MIDI capability, I think. For video it would certainly mean implementing track  transparency, that's why I restricted the request to audio. Page 45 of the x4 pdf manual under

RE: Where do you really need a video editing software ?
Vesku, I beg to differ. You make a valid point about 'follywood' style if you are producing narrative videos which require trimming and sorting and a minimum of effects. But I use MEP for something complete different and Magix provides a superb

RE: If anyone has used Music Studio to compose Classical Music - please reply so we may correspond.
Hi, To add to johnebaker's comment, if you want to write music notes and transcribe them into sounds, MusicMaker is not the best place to do this.  Yes you can use the instruments to play and record the note, but that is not really

RE: If anyone has used Music Studio to compose Classical Music - please reply so we may correspond.
Hi Yes and No - because I think there is a little misunderstanding of the function of both types of software. Sibelius and others like it are, for want of a better description, music scoring (composing) software with the ability to play the

Copyright claims on Youtube video background music by 3rd parties to your own original compositions?

RE: Which MovieEdit Pro, I'm confused?
Hi Stereo and Surround sound normally appear as if they are single mono track - it is a composite view of both channels (stereo) or all 6 channels (5.1 surround sound). To see the 5.1 sound channels you need to right click the sound track and

Essentially, you import the files from your cameras and place them on Tracks 1 and 2 (if using MEP) or Tracks 1 - 8 (if using VPX), align them (that's the interesting part) and then click to select which part of which track is to become

RE: What do I need to connect a Samsung VP-L900 Hi8 camcorder to my PC?

RE: What is alternate to the "blue" opening as described in the Setup tutorial ?
For input ports there are basically 2. Red (pink for some) is a microphone port. This is a MONO port that adds a +20 gain boost for amplifying the microphone signal. This will distort the audio that comes in that is already amplified. Plus,
