RE: chroma key: how to get rid of green or grey fringe around the subject
@kate-m Hi Kate. Have you tried using the custom colour option rather than the green colour option? After selecting custom you then have to select a section of the green screen by drawing the mouse over a portion with the left click of the mouse

chroma key: how to get rid of green or grey fringe around the subject
Hi, i'm filming in front of a green screen and i can't get rid of the green or grey fringe around my subject. Does anybody have an idea how i could fix this? Filming at a higher frame rate has helped a bit. I'm filming outside in perfect daylight

RE: how to edit/ trim within a frame/ smaller than a frame / incrementally
@kate-m Hi Kate, and welcome to the user to user forums. A frame is a fixed time dependent on the amount of frames per second a video or film clip is recorded at. It is not divisible as a time period and although technically a sound track could be

    RE: Rendering in 4k
@CubeAce Hi Ray Thank you very much for trying I can add that I've tried just using the video parts so both clips would have been exactly the same and I still get this green screen preview thing and I've rendered it at 1080p and it works, so it's

@nicolesharp100 @johnebaker Without trying to be biased I will try and give my impressions between the two sides. Magix vs Vegas. Vegas. Vastly more complex to use the higher up you in the editing package upgrades but may be a more familiar workflow

@CubeAce re: green screen - I did all of the above with MEP2014 - worked but strangely, not in MEP2021. @johnebaker interesting that it is a driver issue - can't help that then I guess. I used a commercial green screen and LED panels so colours are

@Kevin-Tam Hi . . . . This seems to confirm my initial thoughts that this is a bug in MEP2014 . . . . seems strongly worded but it does strike me as strange that it can render the font in one setting and not another. . . . This is more likely a

@Kevin-Tam Hi Kevin. Try using colour instead of Green and select a section of the green screen for a sample. This allows for a wider gamut of green to be used. Ray.

Green screen moving video and image

@NormL Norm, you can check if it's your system choking pretty easily: does it happen if you start playing say 5 seconds before the end of the clip? If so, do a Preview Render as follows: Set up a range over the top of the end of the clip Click the

    RE: Chromakey issues 2020 version
The last point I would like to make is the green screen effects offered within most video editors are quite basic compared to a dedicated green screen plugin that a TV or film company would have at their disposal such as the one offered by Boris

    RE: Chromakey issues 2020 version
@johnebaker @Karkes @Former user Hi John. I wholeheartedly agree with the frame rate choice and one reason I use different frame rates for different projects depends on whether there is fast movement or not as well as lighting conditions generally.

@Karkes, @CubeAce Hi The smearing of hands in the green screen video is aggravated by the low framerate of 23.976 fps - you can see how bad it is if you step through 11:14 to 11:19 in the video. The speed of the young lady's hands are travelling
