RE: Left and Right video channels are not in sync.
I am using a Sony 3D Camera with two video lenses. Model HDR TD10. I also use a Sony DEV-3 and Sony DEV-5, so the files come from a single source. I am using 3 different computers running different versions of Magix. I just processed a video on a

RE: How to apply 2 gamma correction at the same time?
Damn, I was not really expecting an other answer but I gave it a try. That's what I do by playing with HDR stuff but I'm not that convinced. It will be better this way than the orignal video anyway. But thank you for your reactivity browj2.

RE: HDR Gamma control creates indow on upper left of the movie window
@Kami_1Just a thought on you original problem of the 1/4 display - a while bck we had a problem with HDR causing the picture to go dark which appeared to be related to the effect not liking Direct X 11. Have you checked your Direct X is up to date?

RE: HDR Gamma control creates indow on upper left of the movie window
@Kami_1 When I "play" with Brightness, Contrast and Gamma settings, I get something which looks more like a painting than an image, and it becomes too grainy. Just my ten cents worth:- In the case of your SShot picture - I would not use the contrast

RE: HDR Gamma control creates indow on upper left of the movie window
Hi Kami For brightening the thrush, did try the normal Gamma with the Mid or Low option instead of the HDR Gamma? Did you update the Intel drivers? John EB Hi John, The regular gamma tool helps, but doesn't give me the brightness I want of the

@Kami_1 Hi Kami. Not exactly what I was looking for although enlarging the double screen shots to a size I could make out, the text in (Always useful) I think I may be seeing part of the problem. From your screen grab, enlarged for me to try to see

RE: HDR Gamma control creates indow on upper left of the movie window
Ray, here's the full program; the MEP monitor window is in second monitor. The one with 1/4 of the video screen is with a Gamma HDR setting; other one is with the HDR control at zero. Before I tried unchecking the Hardware Accelerator for playback,

RE: HDR Gamma control creates indow on upper left of the movie window
Spoke too soon. Went back to the video today, and got this with HDR Gamma setting, regardless of setting of Hardware Accelerator/Play. It's showing a quarter of the video, not a shrunk video. As soon as I set HDR Gamma to normal, the full screen

MEP 2021; graphics card Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB GDDR6; 32 GB Ram; 9th Gen. Intel I7, 8-core, on board audio I've used the HDR Gamma tool many times but never saw this happen. It creates a window in the upper left quadrant, regardless of

RE: How can I convert movie made in 2006 with BUP, VOB, IFO and MVD files?
@CubeAce @browj2 @johnebaker Hi Ray Your screen shots of the Eiffel Tower are a very good example of why not to use too much HDR Gamma in VPX ie much more than 20% starts to show dark and light bands, which i think is created by the blurred mask

RE: How can I convert movie made in 2006 with BUP, VOB, IFO and MVD files?
@CubeAce Hi Ray, In your video, I noticed that some scenes could use a bit of HDR gamma, like the Eiffel Tower at about 1:12. Like Peter, I restrict the HDR Gamma to about 20 and make a slight adjustment to the HDR blur. I sometimes use a

@Scenestealer @johnebaker @emmrecs @lauriemessage Hi Peter. I think that subject is worthy of a tutorial of its own as it is quite complex for people to get their heads around. I was still quite young (about 14) when I remember using super 8

RE: How can I convert movie made in 2006 with BUP, VOB, IFO and MVD files?
@Scenestealer Hi Peter I did not recommend using HDR Gamma because I have had some issues with it, however looking at the settings you are using I may have been over doing it. Time to revisit it again as I do have some images of very high contrast,

RE: How can I convert movie made in 2006 with BUP, VOB, IFO and MVD files?
@lauriemessage @johnebaker @CubeAce Hi I would use the excellent HDR Gamma slider in the Contrast / Brightness effects section of VPX for bringing detail out of the dark areas if there is any detail hidden in there that has not been lost by the

RE: no audio with Canon 4k .MOV files
@CubeAce Hi Ray I would guess it needs the serial number for the Digital Photo Professional software - digging deeper for what that codec is for, it appears not to apply here, AFAICS it is for still HDR images (HDR PQ, 10bit colour depth). John EB
