RE: [Closed] invalid Id3 in Magix music maker
Hey, I had the exact same issue. After some searching I decided to remove the ID3 tags totally. Found a small handy program for that "ID Kill". After removing tags, it all worked like dream. Cheers, Esa

Where is the Manual for Rescue Your Video Tapes 6?
Everything tells me I should have a PDF automatically down loaded when I install. I have looked and SEARCHed every where and cannot find any such file. I have checked the Website and again it tells me it should be here.  I am running Windows 8. It

RE: Pixelan plug-ins for Movie Edit Pro 2013 or later are now available
Sorry I haven't gotten back onto this forum to announce the update yet. Yes, a few days ago we did a minor update in our transitions plug-ins (in coordination with Magix) to address the delete issue previously identified in this thread, and to

RE: Exasperating that volume curve cannot be dragged!
Hi John, Yes, the Volume Reduction feature I mentioned is indeed handy. But as Peter reminded me it generates what Magix calls a Track Curve as distinct from the Volume Curve you can create manually. (I've always been foggy about the

RE: I have a new lap top and my old one has the activation code that i paid for. For certain files to be played. I was wondering how can I reactivate on my new laptop so it can be the same.
dalvyncooper08, You should be able to simply install MEP on your new computer and enter the same activation code, and maybe the email address you used when you first registered your product. Though perhaps not strictly in accordance with the

Securityman, You want this setting ticked under the 'Playback' tab of File' >> 'Settings' >> 'Program...', [Y] key shortcut: This is from MEP 2014 but MEP 17 has something similar. The up arrow method suggested by asoeli is

RE: Where can I find the 'Video Recorder' module in MEP2013? I,ve seen it in previous versions. I need this function so that I can watch TV on the PC through an analouge capture device.
Hi If I press record I can record as normal but on a small window. On other versions (Even on some 2013 versions), there is a 'Video Recorder module', and a VCR command under the File menu which lets you record and watch in full screen (While

RE: MEP 2014 Size/Position: Changes in preview monitor

RE: MEP 2014 Size/Position: Changes in preview monitor
Hi John, Yes, sloppy programming IMO, the cursor should change to the 'rotate' type. But I just regard Large dot = Rotate, Small dot = Size. I think the position must be the program's attempt to place it in the most convenient place, perhaps

RE: Place keyframes and curves direct on timeline?
Keyframes for most effects can be edited directly on the timeline if they have been first created (or at least started) in the usual effects window. Note that some effects like image size/position have sub categories, eg height and width,

    RE: Object mask
Handy hint for all you mask users: If you name your images ending in 'alpha' eg WhiteCircle_alpha.jpg, the alpha effect is applied automatically. Same IIRC with black, white, green etc.

RE: how to cut blank end of video (black area)
rpoholik, The double arrow icon at the bottom right should do the job. It resets the range markers to cover only the objects on your timeline. It is also handy to check that you don't have a orphan bit somewhere unnoticed -- eg an image or

Footswitch to punch in/out in Samplitude on my computer

RE: How to insert футажи with an alpha the channel?
ev1949, You can certainly import .png images with inbuilt alpha channels (transparency masks). They are regularly used for adding decorative borders. If your футажи (footage) is a video clip with the same type of tarnsparency mask I'd say all

Right Terry. Looking at your screen shot reminds me of the other thing I found quite handy - the sideways arrow that takes you to the adjacent object and then "Apply from previous object". The new way is more cumbersome.
