    RE: [Closed] recording
Hi, Are you sure your Yamaha is capable of audio via USB? Most are NOT. Since it's apearing in the MIDI list I'm back to my original assesment; you possibly have a MIDI only USB port on your keyboard. If that's the case then we can use your

    RE: [Closed] recording
Hi, I'm happy to help. The easiest thing to do is open music studio and press the P key on your keyboard. That will bring up the playback parameters window. In that window you will see a section called Device with two pull-down menus. The first

    RE: [Closed] recording
Hi, What keyboard do you have? Some Yamaha USB is MIDI only - the fact that you can hear through your speakers leads me to believe yours is not though. Go to the playback parameters of your Magix software and choose your Yamaha for the

RE: [Closed] How do I load my audio files unto my music myspace page? Thanks
Hi, First you'll have to export your audio as .MP3 - then go to your myspace profile editor and upload your songs. It's as simple as that, Justin

    RE: [Closed] MEP 15+ SUCKS?
Hi, Bummer you're having such problems! You should just stick with MEP 14... was there any reason to upgrade? I'm sticking with Music Maker 12 for similar reasons - I don't need to upgrade. It does what I need and works. Justin

RE: Can someone publish magix music on itunes to sell music?
Hi, Music made with Music Maker and/or Sound Pool samples can be sold and/or published on a CD. There is a license agreement that came with Music Maker and the sound Pool CDs - read those. This question has also been answered in the past and

RE: can't play entire arrangement through MOTU audio interface
Hi Steve, The MOTU 828 (and other older MOTU stuff) was not as 100% PC friendly as it could be - especially if you're not using Audiodesk. That being said - the first thing you should do is freshen up your drivers for the interface. How are you

Hi Douglas, You want to convert the MP3 to .wav and then create your CD. For step by step instructions please refer to the manual on your installation CD or your install location if you downloaded the program. Justin

RE: how do i hook up multiple microphones for live recording
Ralftaro nailed it! Let me just offer a couple suggestions: 1.) If you do not have a recording interface GET ONE! A PC sound card is just not adequate for decent recording. 2.) Get yourself a decent mixer; Behringer makes a great 12 channel

RE: [Closed] Playback issues when recording
Hi, I'm going on the presumption that you're using a standard PC sound card. Are you trying to recording two tracks simultaneously? For you - the REC button shouldn't be to "arm" a track for recording so whether it's enabled or not your recording

RE: [Closed] Playback issues when recording
Ok... first try turning OFF the REC button. That is more of a monitor option and can cause problems when used in conjunction with "Playback While Recording" that usually causes this problem. Your recording interface is what type of "sound card"

RE: [Closed] Playback issues when recording
Do you have the REC button enabled when you record? This is located on the left side of the track in the icon area. Also... how are you recording? Are you using a mic? That will pic up anything coming from your speakers. Always record with

Hi, Maybe we should determine what exactly your problem is... what are you trying to accomplish? ASIO4ALL is a universal ASIO "driver" that allows you to record in Music Maker via ASIO low latency. It works with most sound cards and recording

??? Not exactly sure what you're looking for. If you need a driver the best place to start is your hardware manufacturer - they usually provide drivers. If you're looking for a reference driver then a web search is your best bet - if you want a

RE: How do I import sound effects?
Hi, The easiest way is to drag and drop... browse to your .wav or .mp3 via Music Maker file window and drag the file into your arrangement. You might end up with some timing issues but that can be another question ^_^ Justin

Ralftaro nailed it... that should get you up and running. With the Omega you'll also have to pick the "channel" you record with. That can be done in the actual record window from a drop down menu. You'll NOT be able to record guitar and mic
